House Republicans Urge Treasury to Investigate Code Pink, PYM, BreakThrough Media and other Anti-Genocide Left-Wing Orgs
House Oversight Chair James Comer and Rep. Anna Paulina Luna sent a 5-page letter to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent asking for a formal review of Neville Roy Singham – a U.S. citizen living in China – and the networks he funds.
The letter alleges that Singham acts as an “agent for the CCP” and finances groups that “spread disinformation,” “sow discord,” and “promote pro-CCP talking points.” Citing NYT and pro-Israel think-tank reports, it claims nearly $1.8M in funding has gone to U.S. leftist organizations, including:

The committee wants Treasury to consider freezing or seizing assets, apply FARA enforcement, and evaluate possible criminal penalties. It frames these groups as “radical” actors undermining U.S. national security and calls for government action.
Neville Singham has spent millions funding militant organizations that have orchestrated violent riots and launched targeted hate campaigns against Americans with different beliefs.
Chairman @RepJamesComer and I are calling on @SecScottBessent at the U.S. Treasury to immediately freeze all of his assets. We will no longer allow billionaires to bankroll anti-American political movements on behalf of foreign governments.
