The study (not peer-reviewed) missed the explanation for their data. Buildings/parking lots increase satellite-measured surface temp. The study appears to have simply detected that buildings were constructed where fields used to be, not that data centers are putting out heat.

I really want to teach people a tip about OBS that I see them missing out on.
But you can make an extra scene that is just for your alerts, any on screen games (like T.I.T.S etc.) and add it as a source. I do it here with the "Add-Ons" scene.
This means you don't have to run multiple copies of the same browser source on every scene for example, cutting down RAM usage. Useful if you don't need to move them around.
