A reminder: the people in power don’t need conferences, treaties or agreements to start taking real climate action. They can start today.
When enough people come together then change will come and we can achieve almost anything. So instead of looking for hope - start creating it.

It is one thing to speak and another thing to act. Many look at tree planting🌳 as a useless thing but promising to put an end on forest disappearing. We cannot protect our forests without helping in restorations of fragile ecosystems
This is how we are celebrating #CallToEarth

This is a result of the loss of the town of Paradise, CA and 85 of its residents in 2018. Local energy companies are installing these stations to (controversially) shut off power in areas experiencing fire weather.
My community had 6 stations in Sept. 2017.
Today, we have 43.

Did you know Los Angeles has the highest concentration of weather stations in the world?
The NYC region has about 300 or so weather stations compared to SoCal's 2,000+ weather stations.
Weather stations are essential in wildland-urban interfaces to track wildfire conditions.

Yesterday we made impossible possible, Over 2500🌳 trees were planted in restoration of degraded lands in Mpanga forest🇺🇬
A quick reminder, burning trees is not a Climate solution, EU must protect forests, not BURN THEM FOR ENERGY. #StopFakeRenewables @GretaThunberg @vanessa_vash

I did NOT throw away these glass bottles. Anybody recognize them? They look 50+ years old.
