Despite the recent news, my time at RLCS Worlds was eye opening.
Being able to spend REAL time with content creators and Rocket League players completely changed my perspective.
Every creator I spent time with was down to earth. Nobody was plagued by “content brain” or trapped in the “rat race” by using numbers to determine who they wanted to interact with. They’re all very real people who just want to have fun while providing for their families.
The Rocket League players I met in person were all incredibly kind. I even had a few people tell me that they have stream sniped me and trolled me in the past. We were able to joke and laugh about it. It was overwhelming how many people wanted signatures and photos.
I used to perceive the Rocket League community as being toxic. I no longer do. The toxic members of the community only exist online. The vast majority of the community is positive and real.

Richard Childress Racing has elected to suspend use of the No. 8 and will run the No. 33 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and beyond. Kyle Busch was instrumental in the design of RCR’s stylized No. 8 and it has become synonymous with Kyle and an important symbol for his fans and the NASCAR industry. No one can carry it forward to the level that he did. The No. 8 is reserved and ready for Brexton Busch when he is ready to go NASCAR racing.
