The past two years of creating content have been a crazy journey, allowing me to work with The Athletic, Underdog Fantasy, and Ballislife.
But I've realized my true passion lies in writing. Excited to turn the page and begin a new chapter this NBA season!

I'll go to the grave for Jamal Shead, but 3 turnovers in a row and 4 total from your backup PG is the type of stuff that'll send your TV remote flying across the living room. Raptors must be a team that wins the turnover margin
Big reason why the Raptors got outscored 41-15 in Q3 against the Nuggets was because their offensive composure completely fell apart. One example was this disagreement where Scottie Barnes wanted to get involved, but Quickley waved him off and ended up turning it over:
Scottie Barnes saw Nikola Jokic guarding him and decided lunch was on the house. Motioned to the bench to keep feeding him afterwards but unfortunately, the Raptors never did
Perhaps the lone bright spot of the Raptors L vs. the Nuggets was Alijah Martin having his best game of the season. Only played 9 minutes but looked sharp
Last night during the 76ers vs. Pistons game, we saw LeBron James take charge during late-game foul situations to get his team organized

The Raptors have a serious Jakob Poeltl problem right now. Aside from the lack of production, it didn't seem like he even knew the plays last night based on this example:
Scottie Barnes literally had to shove RJ Barrett to guard his man last night. Pretty much sums up the entire night, Raptors defense as a whole was disappointing
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had an all-time "empty the clip" moment in the recent Thunder vs. Cavs game. By my count, there was a good 3 minute stretch in the 4th quarter where he literally did not pass to a single teammate once - continuously brought the ball down and let it fly

The growing chemistry between Aday Mara and Shai for the Thunder is an encouraging sign. He's become a great partner next to SGA due to his advanced basketball IQ as seen in a couple of plays here:
As the OKC Thunder start to figure out new roles for new faces, one guy who I think will step up big time is rookie Bennett Stirtz. Big time shot maker whose fearlessness could quickly earn the trust of SGA and the rest of the team. A couple of great examples here from the last game here:
