An outrageously horny romantic fantasy with plenty to say, WICKER is unexpectedly tender, wickedly funny, and surprisingly perceptive. Full review at the link below. #WickerMovie thejamreport.com/2026/10/25/…
Laika needs to go big with their Oscar campaign for WILDWOOD. Best Picture, Adapted Screenplay, Original Score and Song, Production Design, Sound, Visual Effects. There's no reason it shouldn't land noms across the board.
A stop-motion fantasy of such staggering beauty, imagination, and emotional power, WILDWOOD is a towering achievement in filmmaking. Full review at the link below. thejamreport.com/2026/10/24/…
Led by a terrific central performance from Tom Rhys Harries, CLAYFACE is an intriguing experiment that never quite becomes the daring horror film its premise promises. Full review at the link below. #ClayfaceMovie thejamreport.com/2026/10/22/…
The @Filmotomy 2026/27 Awards Season Calendar is now up and running! Keep track of the plethora of nominations and ceremonies as awards season barrels along. filmotomy.com/2026-2027-awar…
#ClayfaceMovie is a mixed bag. It's plagued by clunky dialogue and its revenge plot is rather generic. But a terrific Tom Rhys Harries delivers a complex and empathetic performance and it offers several gruesome moments, but not quite the gory body horror some will be expecting.
Seated and ready for a preview screening of CLAYFACE. Thanks to @warnerbrosau for the invite. #ClayfaceMovie
STREET FIGHTER is a spectacularly misguided adaptation. Its impressive fight choreography and striking anime sequences offer glimpses of the far more entertaining film this material might have become. Full review at the link below. #StreetFighterMovie thejamreport.com/2026/10/15/…
It's taken almost a decade but The Jam Report has finally been quoted on a movie poster. A very proud day. Thanks to @RialtoMovies for making this happen.
LA BOLA NEGRA is in select Australian cinemas today.
Seated and ready for the Australian premiere of STREET FIGHTER. Thanks to @ParamountAU for the invite. #StreetFighterMovie
WHALEFALL is a wildly inventive, relentlessly claustrophobic survival thriller. Austin Abrams is phenomenal, while the sound design and visual effects are extraordinary. The emotional beats get a little syrupy, but it turns an absurd premise into something genuinely exhilarating.
Seated and ready for a preview screening of WHALEFALL. Thanks to @20thcentury for the invite.
Disappointing to see reviews of OTHER MOMMY from international critics like myself and @ratedPDG have been hidden on Rotten Tomatoes, presumably until the film opens in the US tomorrow. They were there eight hours ago. 🤷‍♂️
OTHER MOMMY is truly dreadful. Despite one of the silliest horror plots of the year and a woeful script, it takes itself so staggeringly seriously. An endless parade of ineffective jump scares, awful CGI, and a finale that drew unintentional laughter several times. #OtherMommy

The full program for the 2026 British Film Festival has been unveiled. Highlights include the Australian premieres of ELSINORE, INK, PRIMA FACIE, TENDER LOVING CARE, WICKER, and A LONG WINTER. The festival will run across Australia from October 28. #BFF26
For a story about one of the most consequential technological forces of the modern era, THE SOCIAL RECKONING feels strangely conventional, lacking the imagination to transform indignation into genuine cinematic rage. Full review at the link below. thejamreport.com/2026/10/08/…
#TheSocialReckoning has the substance but not the style of its predecessor. The story is gripping, Madison and White are terrific, and Strong is chilling. But its once-urgent warnings about Meta already feel several years too late, leaving the whole film feeling rather pointless.
Seated and ready for a preview screening of THE SOCIAL RECKONING. Thanks to @SonyPicturesAUS for the invite. #TheSocialReckoning
