This isn't a blunder or a mis-step. It's a statement of faith - a declaration of Nigel Farage's core beliefs about a 21st century murderous dictator - Vladimir Putin - who is waging a war of aggression against a country - Ukraine - that did nothing do warrant or deserve this onslaught.

Context for Norwich Situation
Norwich were transitioning from an older playing squad, had a remit to reduce squad age & wage bill which were both successfully achieved.
They also then sold Borja Sainz to Porto for £13.3m who had 22 Goal Involvements last season & 2 Forwards they replaced him with have been injured for 6-7 Games.
There are cases to make for some of the moves this past few months but jumping for Robbie Thelwell because of Norwichs position isn't it in context...

It's amazing I still hear some in the media and Celtic fans refer to Steven Gerrard's Scottish league title win as the covid year.
The covid year was the year prior in 2019/20 when the season was abandoned early on 18 May 2020 with 9 games still to be played and momentum shifting Rangers way.
