You built a product people love.
It’s time to do the same with your personal brand.
As a founder, you already know how to find market fit.
Apply that same knowledge to your content.
You know the game:
- It takes time to get traction.
- It demands consistent work.
- It calls for agility - learn and adjust.
- Don’t break your streak. Momentum is everything.
I learned the last one the hard way.
Losing momentum feels like starting from zero.
It crushes morale and feeds the lie that you “can’t do it.”
But you’ve done the impossible before.
You built something from nothing.
You know how to validate, iterate, and win.
Use those exact skills for your content.
The rewards? Enormous.

I used to think long-term goals were everything.
But they’re not.
I lost so much time restarting my content streaks.
I’m part of the 90% of people who fail at content.
It all starts with poor target setting.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
There are two ways to approach goals.
The “future” target:
Where you want to be in 6 months, a year, or beyond.
The “daily” target:
Small, actionable steps you can achieve and celebrate today.
I asked myself:
1. Do I want an unpredictable, bumpy road that drains my morale?
2. Do I want small wins that build momentum every single day?
The answer was obvious.
Long-term goals are important, but daily actions keep me motivated and moving forward.
Since I shifted my focus to daily targets, everything has changed.
I wake up knowing exactly what progress looks like today.
And every small win gets me one step closer to the big picture.
Set big goals.
But remember: success is built one small win at a time.

Founders not sure how to begin with content creation, here's the ultimate topic to focus on every day:
- What value does your service or product offer?
That's all. Every day.

I use a Mac. It’s 2022. I can search the entire contents of the internet over the network faster and in greater detail than I can search the contents of the local files on my computer. Crazy, and true, and the quality gap is huge.

Design is subjective, being polite about critiquing isn’t. If you don’t like a design that’s totally ok, but find out the reason behind it and add considered feedback. I hope this year we all get better about empathic, considered design critiques.
