Just back from visit to UK. #easyjet welcome/warning script includes the line “in the event that we land on water”. Is it just me that finds that amusing enough to divert my attention from the message?

I think that maybe this is a sign of advanced age? When you finish a two day course (on Tuesday) and are convinced you've earned a weekend.

It's irrational to follow these steps: 1. Separate IT from others through adopting service logic inside organization and create IT and business divide. 2. Adopt techniques and principles to improve collaboration between IT and business If you don't do 1. you don't need 2.

@Ivormacf reckons his grandmother had him pre-prepared to deal with ITIL long before he heard about it. Here he explains why. #servicedesk #ITIL4 buff.ly/35wOvc3

So, only a few hours until 16:00 when @ClaireAgutter asks @DanielBreston and I questions about our attempts at retirement from ITSM. I'd better start thinking about what I might say? Do please turn up and find out if I thought of anything - eur03.safelinks.protection.o…

Here, @ivormacf takes a nostalgic and very accurate view of #ITIL’s seven guiding principles. When it comes to behavior the important ideas that underpin it really haven’t changed much in the last 100 years. Intrigued? Please take a look... #ITSM #ITIL4 itsm.tools/learn-itil-from-m…

Is this a secret message of support for Scottish independence from Portugal? Top label says (in Portuguese) that the beef is from UK or Scotland! The lower label confirms the beef is actually from Wales. #indyref

The reality of the post-#COVID19 world will not be what we think – don't paint yourself in a corner by thinking you know – teach your staff how to learn experientially and apply that new knowledge - @Ivormacf #ITSM #newnormal buff.ly/2BM0MxL

If COVID-19 has taught us anything it’s that the people we thought were important are not so critical when it really comes down to it. One can only hope that this gets recognized in the future – @ivormacf #COVID19 itsm.tools/?p=10900 via @itsm_tools

Useful to have the occasional reminder that google translate might not convey quite the intended message - this on a website while browsing for property insurance in Portugal.
