BREAKING: Iran is now distributing iodine tablets to communities within a two to three kilometer radius of its sensitive nuclear facilities over fears of a US nuclear attack, a Health Ministry official confirms to The Times.
"Yes, we are distributing iodine. Trump can no longer be trusted. He may go through with this crime," the official said.
"Everyone knows that very little time remains. If America does not use a nuclear weapon against Pickaxe Mountain, it will be a miracle," an Iranian analyst with close ties to the IRGC said.
Senior figures across the government, the IRGC and the regular armed forces expect Pickaxe to be among the principal targets of the coming war.

- On March 13, he vowed "no quarter, no mercy." Declaring no quarter is a war crime under Hague Article 23(d) and 18 U.S.C. § 2441. The words alone are the offense. As a judge advocate, you know this.
- A U.S. Tomahawk destroyed a girls' school in Minab, killing 168 children. The UN Independent International Fact-Finding Mission on Iran found reasonable grounds to believe it was a war crime: an indiscriminate attack on a plainly civilian school, going beyond negligence. Before the war, Hegseth had cut CENTCOM's civilian-harm team from 10 people to one. As a judge advocate, you know this.
- U.S. missiles struck a sports hall during volleyball practice, killing at least 21, including seven children. Washington tried to blame Iran. The same UN mission found reasonable grounds to believe this, too, was a war crime. As a judge advocate, you know this.
- The US president threatened to destroy Iran's power plants and bridges unless Tehran negotiated, and Hegseth's forces then hit five bridges in one night. Coercion is not a military advantage. Destroying civilian objects for leverage violates Hague Article 23(g). As a judge advocate, you know this.
- After a boat strike left survivors, he reportedly ordered the military to "kill everybody," and a second strike followed. Killing the shipwrecked is murder. As a judge advocate, you know this.
- He has waged war on Iran without congressional authorization, in breach of Article I and the War Powers Resolution. As a judge advocate, you know this.
Article VI makes the Hague and Geneva Conventions the supreme law of your land. You cannot claim ignorance of the law. So why, Mr. @epaleezeldin , are you endorsing a war criminal?

The midterms are over. A UN inquiry has already spoken of war crimes, and the investigations are only beginning. The blood of those children is on your hands.

Israel is recycling the Iraq WMD playbook by claiming that Iran seeks to use chemical weapons.
Israel and the US also promoted chemical weapons allegations as part of the regime change war on Syria. That allegation was widely parroted. Dissenting voices who challenged this narrative, including OPCW whistleblowers, were marginalized and smeared.
For Iran, the allegation plays on a national trauma: With US support, Saddam Hussein used chemical weapons against Iranians in the 1980s.

یکی از دلایلی که کشورهای عربی حاشیه خلیج فارس در طول جنگ جاری، دست‌کم در مواضع علنی، خویشتن‌داری نشان دادند و برای آرام کردن اوضاع تلاش کردند، شاید این اطمینان باشد که ایران حتی در جنگ هم اصول اخلاقی را زیر پا نمی‌گذارد.
حالا نتانیاهو، پس از گزارش‌های نهادهای امنیتی آمریکا درباره نبود شواهد ساخت سلاح هسته‌ای در ایران، به طرح اتهام تولید سلاح شیمیایی روی آورده است. طبیعی است! چرا که کافر همه را به کیش خود پندارد!
ایران در هشت سال جنگ تحمیلی، با وجود قربانی شدن هزاران تن از رزمندگان و مردم در حملات شیمیایی صدام، هرگز به فکر مقابله‌به‌مثل با سلاح‌های کشتار جمعی نیفتاد. درست است که درباره سلاح هسته‌ای، با وجود توان علمی و فنی، فتوای شرعی مانع این مسیر شد اما با اطلاع عرض میکنم که درباره سلاح شیمیایی اساساً حتی برای ثانیه‌ای چنین موضوع کثیفی به ذهن هیچ یک از دست‌اندارکان امور تسلیحاتی کشور خطور نکرده و هیچگاه هیچ بحثی در هیچ کجا حتی در تندروترین محافل مطرح نبود. چون ما سردشت و حلبچه را دیده‌ایم و این جنایت را با گوشت و پوستمان لمس کرده‌ایم.
توصیه میکنم وزارت امور خارجه نباید در این باب حتی برای لحظه‌ای تعلل و ذره‌ای تغافل نکند، بلکه فورا از موضع‌گیری رسانه‌ای فراتر برود و اقدامات عملی ویژه‌ای را انجام دهد.
از این جمله پیشنهاد میکنم:
۱. سفیر سوئیس، به‌عنوان حافظ منافع آمریکا، احضار و مستندات حمله آمریکا به لامرد و شواهد مربوط به استفاده از سلاح غیرمتعارف به او ارائه شود.
۲. نمایندگی ایران در سازمان ملل مجددا، دو گزارش مستند و جداگانه درباره لامرد و سردشت تهیه و برای ثبت و انتشار آن به‌عنوان اسند شورای امنیت پیگیری کند.
۳. سفیر آلمان، در پی اتهام‌زنی‌های اخیر نتانیاهو به ایران درباره سلاح‌های شیمیایی، به وزارت امورخارجه احضار شود و به دولت آلمان یادآوری شود که این کشور به دلیل نقش تاریخی برخی شرکت‌ها و مجموعه‌های آلمانی در تأمین تجهیزات و مواد شیمیایی مورد استفاده رژیم صدام، با پرونده‌ای سنگین در تاریخ جنگ شیمیایی علیه ایران روبه‌روست؛ جنایتی که آثار آن را در سردشت و در تن نازنین و ریه‌های پاک هزار تن از رزمندگان کشورمان با چشم دیدیم. باید به سفیر آلمان گوشزد کرد که که چرا بار اتهام استفاده از سلاح شیمیایی متوجه ایران باشد در حالی که خود از قربانیان اصلی این سلاح‌ها بوده است. دولت آلمان باید درباره این سابقه تاریخی و موضع امروز خود در حمایت از کارهای کثیف و دروغ‌پردازی‌ها و نفرت‌پراکنی‌های اسرائیل پاسخ‌گو باشد و روشن کند که در برابر تکرار چنین اتهامات دروغینی چه مسئولیتی قانونی و اخلاقی برای خود قائل است.
موضوع جنایت امریکا و اسرائیل در لامرد نیز نباید در سایه مهیب بودن فاجعه میناب فراموش شود. عموم مردم ایران می‌دانند که دشمنان ایران در لامرد یک سلاح جدید را آزامایش کردند اما این کافی نیست و همگان باید دقیقا به مانند یک کارشناس بدانند چه سلاحی در آنجا استفاده شده، چه ابعادی از خسارت داشته و چه پیامدهایی بر جای گذاشته است. این موضوع به بررسی تخصصی، مستندسازی و اطلاع‌رسانی عمومی نیاز دارد تا در حافظه تمامی مردمی که در این نسل این روزهای هولناک را زندگی کرده‌اند حک شود و به نسل‌های بعدی منتقل شود.
ایران خود قربانی سلاح‌های کشتار جمعی بوده است؛ نباید اجازه داد تاریخ تحریف شود و جای قربانی و متهم عوض شود.
تعلل جایز نیست. نباید اجازه داد موج جدیدی از اتهام و افترا بر علیه ایران به راه بیوفتد . ادعای مخرب نتانیاهوی جنایتکار نباید بی پاسخ بماند. باید فورا و قویّا بر دهان او کوفت و مردم جهان و دولت‌های منطقه را نیز توجیه کرد.
از صدا و سیما که ناامیدیم اما آن عزیزانی که انیمشین‌های لگو را می‌سازند کجای مجلس نشسته اند؟!

I have a small request to make from the whole world, regarding language:
Let's stop using the term 'South Lebanon' or 'Southern Lebanon' when talking about Israel's actions and demands. There is no such thing. There is only Lebanon.
Talking about South Lebanon is a huge Zionist win in political language: it creates the notion Israel is not attacking and occupying Lebanon, only 'South Lebanon', a cute little place that is not even a real part of actual Lebanon. Just a cute little bite.
They are now doing 'Southern Syria' instead of Syria, for precisely the same purpose: to make it sound like this is not invasion and occupation, only a minor bureaucratic move.
There is no south Lebanon and there is no West Bank or Gaza either. There is Palestine, which Israel is occupying in full.
We need to de-Zionize language. Let's start with Lebanon. All of it deserves to be free, and none of it is free till all of it is free. Same as Palestine, and Syria.
