Just finished the final one of about 20 Football Hero and Legend books we’ve read in this football mad household this year. Thanks @footieheroesbks for this great series and the opportunity for me and my boys to perfect our best ‘goooooaaaaalllll’ commentary voices each bedtime!
Great week at work, brought down by parenting fail. Won a big charity bid, managed the juggle that is single parent on-call (thanks grandparents) but forgot to remind son it was PE and he got a negative mark in 3rd week of big school. The guilt. But #onlyhuman I guess! @FlexNHS
To the @tfl bus driver who gave my son (and me) an understanding smile as he got on the bus & the @lb_southwark crossing guard who asked the boy in the too big blazer ‘did you have a nice first day?’ - thank you for looking out for nervous Year 7s on their 1st day at big school!
Named our kitten LucyBronze a year ago and will never again be embarrassed to shout her name out in the street. Amazing cat, even more amazing #Lionesses Zero years of hurt!
Spent a day and feeling upset & anger about the SCOTUS decision and worse reading more about restrictive abortion laws across many parts of Europe. Taking 1st step to channel rage by setting up regular donation to @AbortionSupport who help women access safe care in UK and Europe
Pleased that my habit of writing stuff on my hand actually came in useful today and reminded a few colleagues to get to the polling station after work!#vote #LocalElections2022

Heading in to my last day @StGeorgesTrust 12 years, 5 jobs, 3 babies (of my own) and about 60,000 of other people’s in my time! Time now to see if I can manage a service when the babies grow into kids. Thanks everyone @STGMaternity, l lm going to miss you enormously.
Great to see that July is flexible working month @StGeorgesTrust with seminars for staff running over the next four weeks. For me, flexibility has meant a career and kids - hard at times, but almost impossible without a good employer. (And still a juggle!) @FlexNHS
Feeling a little sad that my baby has graduated from @dollyslibrary hosted by @lb_southwark after receiving a book a month for last 5 years. What an amazing initiative it is to give all kids the gift of reading and imagination. And an amazing book to end on. Thank you Dolly!
