My life ended the day I buried my wife and child. Perhaps someday I’ll discover what my purpose is unless grief completely consumes my soul.

People in Texas see 7-11 store owners in line at Wal-Mart buying inventory with SNAP. It goes right into the gas station. But it's "racist" to say anything about this. You have to pretend that Americans are being beaten in the free market. Intolerable.
An apparently Arabic foreigner has been caught using SNAP benefit fraud to stock his convenience store. Now you understand how "hard-working immigrants" are "good at business." justice.gov/usao-sdfl/pr/hol…

HE WAS TERRIFIED OF NEEDLES. YET HE SPENT 64 YEARS ROLLING UP HIS SLEEVE AND HELPED SAVE THE LIVES OF 2.4 MILLION BABIES. His name was James Harrison, an ordinary Australian man who became one of the most extraordinary lifesavers in history. At just 14 years old, James underwent major chest surgery and survived thanks to blood donated by strangers. He never forgot that gift. When he turned 18, he began donating blood himself, despite a lifelong fear of needles. But doctors would eventually discover something remarkable about James. His blood plasma contained a rare antibody that could be used to produce Anti-D, a medication that protects babies from a potentially devastating condition called Rh disease. Without treatment, the condition can cause severe anemia, brain damage, stillbirth, and death. James had something in his blood that could help prevent those tragedies. And he spent the rest of his eligible donating years giving it away. For decades, he returned to donate, eventually making 1,173 donations. He was so frightened of needles that he reportedly never watched one enter his arm. But he kept coming back. And in an incredible twist of fate, his own daughter later needed Anti-D treatment during pregnancy, helping protect his grandson. In May 2018, at age 81, James made his final donation. His contributions were credited with helping protect approximately 2.4 million Australian babies. James Harrison passed away in February 2025 at the age of 88. He wasn’t a celebrity. He wasn’t a billionaire. He didn’t need applause or recognition. He was simply a man who survived because strangers gave blood and spent decades returning that kindness to families he would never meet. Some heroes wear capes. James Harrison rolled up his sleeve. And millions of families have reason to remember his name.

HOLY CR*P 🚨 3 mosques in Texas are funded, staffed and controlled directly by the government of Turkey “The imams inside them are Turkish government employees. Their sermons are state-approved. Western intelligence services have documented Turkey using identical institutions in other countries to surveil and intimidate political dissidents. That operation is running in Dallas, Houston, and Austin right now” “Turkey's President Erdoğa once described democracy as a train you ride until you reach your destination, and he has made clear that destination nation is an Islamist state. He has jailed journalists, purged judges, and directed his government's religious apparatus, the Diyanet, to operate globally. Now, 3 of those Diyanet mosques are in Texas. These aren't imams. They are foreign government operatives with a pulpit” “Additionally, the Turkish Islamist network in Texas includes private schools and a functioning Sharia court in Dallas. Its founding figure has publicly called for the Islamization of America, declaring, there's only one thing America needs, and that's Islam. This network has operated in close coordination with Muslim Brotherhood organizations in Dallas for years” I can’t believe it but I looked it up and this is all 100% true The 3 mosques are: - Dallas Diyanet Mosque in Richardson / DFW area), operated by the Turkish American Religious Foundation Dallas. Its website states it is “proudly affiliated with the Presidency of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Turkey (T.C. Diyanet Isleri Baskanligi) through Diyanet America.” Diyanet Houston Camii in Houston. Opened around late 2022 with Turkish Diyanet officials including a deputy president and consular staff present. It is also linked to TARF Houston - Austin Diyanet Mosque in the Austin area. Listed in the same reports; Turkish consular officials have visited it How is this allowed. How could Texas officials possibly overlook this? We need the government to suit these mosques down and deport everyone involved

Today is another year without my daughter, Brianna Long, and the weight of it still feels impossible. I struggle to call it an anniversary. It was the day everything broke. Brianna was murdered by gang members while she was at work in Valdosta, Georgia. We are still waiting for a trial. Still waiting for answers. Still trying to move through a life that no longer makes sense. I miss her in ways I can’t fully put into words—her voice, her face, the ordinary moments I used to take for granted. I find myself wondering who she would have become and what we would have shared. Grief has narrowed my world. Most days I work and come home. The things I used to enjoy no longer feel like mine. Learning to live without her has been the hardest thing I have ever faced. Please keep our family in your prayers. Pray for strength, for answers, and for justice for Brianna. Nothing will bring her back. We know that. But she deserves accountability, and we deserve the truth. We will keep holding on to the hope that it comes soon. Brianna, not a day passes that we don’t miss you. You are loved. You are remembered. Your life mattered, and we will keep speaking your name. My sweet Bri Bri, I love you more than words can hold. Until we meet again. Mommy loves you always. 🌹

That man at the table wasn't just scratching marks on bark. He was creating a way for a whole nation to read and write its own language. His name was Sequoyah. The Tennessee Overhill heritage area says he was born around 1776 near the Cherokee town of Tuskeegee, in East Tennessee, near where the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum stands today. His mother was the daughter of a Cherokee chief. He grew up to be a silversmith. He couldn't read or write in any language. He fought alongside U.S. forces in the War of 1812, and the heritage area says the war convinced him that his people needed to be able to write letters, read orders and keep records. So he made a writing system for Cherokee. It used 85 symbols, each standing for a sound. He called it "Talking Leaves." The Cherokee Nation adopted it in 1821. Thousands of Cherokees learned to read within months. By 1828, the Cherokee Phoenix began publishing, the first bilingual national newspaper. The Cherokee Nation honored him with a silver medal and a lifetime pension. His syllabary is still used today, and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians still calls these mountains home. It's one of the most remarkable stories in American history, and it began in East Tennessee. Think about it: a man who never learned to read in any language gave his whole nation the gift of reading in its own. Very few people in history have ever done anything like it, and he did it with nothing but his own patience and genius.

Samaritan's Purse has opened a third site in Pensacola, FL in response to Hurricane Isaias. We are grateful to the Lord for the opportunity to serve families and bring them the love of Jesus in the midst of this difficult time. “You hardly ever see anyone come this quick, so it’s just a blessing,” he said, thanking his neighbor for signing him up to receive help. “Some folks come up here and be mean or try to get money from me, but Samaritan’s Purse comes with the Spirit of Christ.” 🙏Join us in continuing to pray for all those affected by Hurricane Isaias as their recovery process continues. Pray also for our staff and volunteers as they work long hours serving families who have lost so much.
