We #SisiNdioSifuna people have collected labels - mostly mean epithets - like trophies.
We are EMPTY.
We are mujahedeens - militants, insurgents, or extremists.
We are Sifuna Sexuals.
We are WaLevi.
The demographic cover of our labels keep growing. 🙏

Your competition is discussing AI, cancer cures, flying cars, astronomy, philosophy etc and then there's you - stuck on scandals, t-wars, people soiling themselves. Compounding is a saw - it cuts both ways.
Software Developers Have Become Researchers - in a different way. 💯

Academic Cults......
They hinder human development.
They most certainly hinder enterprise - money making - instead encourages money begging.
I feel the '08 Podemos effect(𝙔𝙚𝙨 𝙒𝙚 𝘾𝙖𝙣) that catapulted Obama to presidency from a one term senator in the air, followed by sweeping smaller EU parties into power beginning in Greece. Destiny beckons Sifuna closer to this phenomenon.

Relying on AI to manage the technical debt it generates presents a circular problem.
Banking on AI to solve AI generated problems must only work under the assumption of an AGI reality.

The Student List Movement in Serbia is a great lesson in a people fed up with corrupt political systems.
Their 11-point agenda is something I hope the @LindaMwananchi_ and @edwinsifuna will borrow from and navigate Kenya to greater heights.

This paper answers why confident idiots run the world.
Cornell University published a psychological paper that explains every terrible boss, every loud influencer, and every broken corporate hierarchy.
It’s called “Unskilled and Unaware of It.”
they tested participants across logic, grammar, and humor to measure the gap between actual performance and self-perception.
And the results are wild.
participants scoring in the bottom 12th percentile consistently believed they were operating in the 62nd percentile.
they were not lying. they were literally incapable of recognizing their own incompetence.
the paper revealed a brutal paradox:
the exact skills required to master a domain are the exact same skills required to accurately evaluate your own competence in that domain.
if you lack the skill, you inherently lack the cognitive capacity to realize you are failing.
this creates a dangerous systemic loop.
the incompetent are blessed with absolute, blinding certainty. their brain protects them from their own ignorance, allowing them to speak first, demand authority, and never second-guess their decisions.
meanwhile, the actual experts suffer the exact inverse.
top performers in the study consistently underestimated their rank. because a task was easy for them, they falsely assumed it was easy for everyone else.
they hesitate. they obsess over nuance. they assume they have nothing unique to add.
we are biologically wired to confuse confidence with competence.
the loudest person in the room gets promoted, gets funded, and gets the microphone, not because they know what they are doing, but because they are physically incapable of seeing what they don't.
the only defense mechanism is building systems that stop rewarding absolute certainty and start demanding proof of work.

Why NixOS is freaking magical for AI:
Yes I fetch all the binaries from cache.nixos.org but if I need to debug why something isn't working you can literally request the exact source code used to build the package in a single second. I constantly use this to dive into issues

Mars rover "Opportunity" lasted 15 yrs, the 1st of its kind to complete a marathon on the red planet. It's last message before eternally going MIA was:
𝑴𝒚 𝒃𝒂𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒊𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒍𝒐𝒘.
𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒊𝒕'𝒔 𝒈𝒆𝒕𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒂𝒓𝒌.
It kinda hurts.
AI will blur the difference in cultures, languages (both natural and computer) and kill individualism.

Industrial Solar power plants is barely existent in Africa, huge potential here.
AlpinSolar, Muttsee Dam in Switzerland is a 2.2 MW solar plant - where they have installed 5000 photovoltaic panels on the surface of an existing hydroelectric dam.
Its value is the additional electricity it generates.
Kenya could assess suitable surfaces and adjacent land at hydroelectric facilities, subject to structural, safety and maintenance requirements. This could be combined with pumped-storage facilities where suitable elevation differences, water availability and economics exist.
40MW Masinga Dam has a reported wall length of 2,200 metres (2.2 km) and a height of approximately 60 metres.
Proposal: hypothetically at Masinga you could use the 2,200 m wall length and an average usable height of 10 m to fit 5,000 panels
