Very pleased to see that Kate Harris, my wonderful co-founder of @AllianceLGB, has finally come out of the shadows on X. 🎉🎉🎉 Please follow her: @Kathari17674744 She is impatient, often rude, but one of the most brilliant, inspiring people I have ever known. She unleashed — with a little help from me — a global revolution to reclaim gay rights from the gender identity mob.

Patrick is right. Legislation isn’t for virtue signalling. @pspencer_CSNI - bravo 👌
I’m sorry but I can’t countenance this. Legislation is not used for virtue signalling. We have laws that prohibit abusive and discriminatory behaviour. We don’t need a new poorly drafted law just to ‘demonstrate’ we think conversion therapy is bad. I will never vote for a bill at second reading just because I like the intention but not the detail. Our country must demand more of its legislators than that.

I am immensely proud of my team at LGBT+ Conservatives for having the courage and conviction to stand by our principles, even when doing so invites criticism. Leadership is not about taking the easy road, or telling people what they want to hear. It is about having the strength of character to stand up for what you believe is right, particularly when it would be far easier to remain silent. We set out our red lines on the Conversion Practices Bill. Those red lines were not met, and we have been absolutely clear about where we stand. Some will disagree with our position, and that is entirely their right. I welcome robust debate and legitimate scrutiny. But there is a world of difference between challenging someone’s arguments and attempting to intimidate, vilify or bully them into submission. I will not accept the suggestion that having a different view somehow makes us less committed to the LGBT+ community we proudly represent. We will not be shouted down. We will not be intimidated. And we will certainly not abandon our principles simply because standing by them has become uncomfortable. Doing what is right will always matter more to me than doing what is easy. And neither I nor my team will apologise for that.
Our position is unequivocal. LGBT+ Conservatives DOES NOT SUPPORT the Conversion Practice’s Bill. Our red lines have not been met. This Bill goes too far. Withdraw it in full.

Agree @joymorrissey I strongly oppose the Draft Conversion Practices Bill
I strongly oppose the Draft Conversion Practices Bill. It is a dangerous, appallingly drafted piece of legislation that criminalises parents who just want to do the right thing by their child. It is Orwellian in its state over-reach into private family life, and it is as unnecessary as it is dangerous. It also captures teachers, medical practitioners and faith organisations in its vice-like ideological grip. There are already strong and well used protections in existing laws to safeguard vulnerable children. We do not need this niche hobby-horse of the left wing lobby, who are determined to secure Gender Self-ID by any means necessary. I will work cross-party with anyone who wants to stop this Bill reaching the statute book.

🚨🇺🇸 BRAELYN’S STORY JUST MADE FOX BUSINESS! 🇺🇸🚨 What an incredible moment for our family! Today on Varney & Co., Stuart Varney brought up Steve Moore’s recent Rasmussen Reports article about Braelyn and the barriers seriously ill Americans face in accessing promising experimental treatments! Steve shared Braelyn’s story and called out the FDA, saying it’s CRUEL to withhold promising investigational treatments from desperately ill patients. Varney agreed, arguing that patients facing terminal illnesses should have the freedom to accept the risks of experimental treatments without liability concerns preventing companies from providing them. Then Steve asked a powerful question: “Whatever happened to my body, my choice?” He also pointed out that President Trump supports Right to Try, yet significant barriers remain between patients and the treatments they desperately need. THIS is the conversation we’ve been fighting to bring into the national spotlight! Our 19-year-old daughter is attending college, and her latest MRI shows no evidence of cancer recurrence. Yet we still have to travel to ENGLAND for her ongoing DCVax-L treatments—developed right here in AMERICA! We are so incredibly grateful to Steve Moore and Stuart Varney for bringing attention to Braelyn’s story and, more importantly, to the countless patients who deserve a fighting chance. Patients facing life-threatening illnesses shouldn’t have to fight their own government for the opportunity to fight for their lives. PLEASE WATCH AND SHARE! ❤️🙏 @realDonaldTrump @DrOzCMS @SecKennedy #DCVaxForBraelyn #RightToTry #DCVax #BraelynsFight $NWBO

Ukraine’s freedom is not President Trump’s to bargain away. He is wrong to ease sanctions on Russian diesel, wrong to blame President Zelensky for prolonging Putin’s war, and wrong to undermine a nation fighting for its right to exist. Russia is the aggressor. Always has been. Reward Russia, and we should expect to see more aggression, including from other countries. We can also kiss goodbye to any just and lasting peace. This is why Conservatives have stood with Ukraine against Putin. Ukraine’s future belongs to Ukrainians. They alone have the right to choose their president, and we stand with President Zelensky because he fights not for himself, but for the survival of his country and his people.

Thank you to everyone for the amazing welcome and support we received at the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham last week. Two of my Azov brothers and I were there to inform and raise awareness of the issue of Azov POWs, particularly the heroes of Mariupol who have been in Russian captivity for over four years. They are held in the most appalling and inhumane conditions while being subjected to torture, starvation, and in some cases, murder. Thank you to all who attended our event and the great speakers who contributed. – at Allington, England

Gordon Brown greatly reduced the powers of the Bank of England, calling that giving them independence! They gave up issuing government debt and regulating the large banks. The Treasury approved bond buying and money printing. Helped deliver the banking crash.

A most dignified, diligent, effective public servant. Many would do well to follow the example of James Brokenshire. Sending love to all those who miss him
Five years today since we lost my former boss and lovely, great, loyal and fun friend James Brokenshire. I miss him all the time and his excellent, principled example inspires me every day. I was lucky to know him. #TeamBrokeyForever

James Brokenshire was the first candidate/MP I got to know properly, as a teenage activist in Hornchurch GE2005. Despite being newly elected about 6 weeks earlier he found time to send me a handwritten note after I got made head boy at school. The nicest man. Such a loss. RIP

This was absolutely the moment of Kemi Badenoch’s speech so far. The unite the right campaign is now surely finally and emphatically dead. The remarks received the longest and loudest ovation from the audience who started shouting “Kemi, Kemi.” Watch the speech now on @GBNEWS.
Tory conference overall has been pretty downbeat but the room just erupted during a section of Badenoch’s speech attacking Reform. She gets three consecutive standing ovations as she declares she will never unite with Nigel Farage’s right-wing outfit. Badenoch tells the conference hall: “I remember back in the day when Ian Wright and John Barnes were playing. Nobody was questioning whether they were English. We certainly didn't have sitting MPs questioning whether they were English. “We must not let these people take us backwards. That is not the country we are. Reform MPs are openly questioning people's identity. They are not like us. We are not like them. We are different. We are the Conservative Party.”

6 years ago @LGBTCons tried to get @AllianceLGB banned from Tory conference. Ever year since then they'd whisper about how they'd love to meet up but not in public. Good to see they've finally decided to do the right thing. Well done!
This morning our Chairman @Mullers1993 went and spoke to the @AllianceLGB and @KateBMwriting about how we can work pragmatically together. 🏳️‍🌈💙🇬🇧
