Tanking happens in the NFL. Coaches have literally pulled players for tanking.
Coaches have also been fired for winning games on the last week that bumped them down in the draft order.
It’s very “anti-Dodger” of you because you keep adjusting the rule.
The rule doesn’t say the “Dodgers” are the only team that gets to carry an extra pitcher. The rule states that anyone that has a two-way player can carry an extra pitcher.
Despite what my friend and former colleague at Fox suggests here, I am not “anti-Dodger.” I am pro everyone plays with the same roster size. Crazy idea, I know.
We are still at the point in the conversation where no one, including in this article, has provided a logical thought provoking explanation as to why the team the has Ohtani on it gets to carry 14 pitchers, Dodgers or otherwise.
I don’t fault the Dodgers for taking advantage. Every team would. This is on MLB and needs to be addressed.
