Excited to announce that beginning in a couple weeks I’ll be the new high school sports reporter for @HoCoTimesSports, part of the Baltimore Sun Media Group.
I can’t wait to get started sharing the great stories of Howard County athletes.
Navy football totaled over 500 yards of offense against North Texas.
However, the Mids’ defense struggled mightily to contain a potent Mean Green offense in a 49-39 defeat.

A beautiful Saturday afternoon in Annapolis as @NavyFB (2-4, 1-3 American) hosts North Texas (4-2, 2-0).
Midshipmen are looking to move to 3-0 at home on the year.
The Mids will not go away and orchestrate a second straight touchdown drive as Michael Barrow runs it in from four yards out.
Navy trails 42-39 with 10:49 remaining.
Navy has 351 yards rushing as Jackson Gutierrex has been a monster on the ground, averaging 9.6 yards per carry
