A draft bill floated by Dems in the House Homeland Security Committee (+ obtained by @InsideCyber) codifies the Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures program, giving CISA more oversight and new authorities for NIST on the program's board and to create a plan for its future. [1/2]
The plan would tackle moving the program to a multistakeholder governance model with the possibility of multiple funding streams and consolidating the program with NIST’s National Vulnerability Database.
