Govt should raise the basic exemption limit to 12L directly. Since everyone is busy explaining rebates and marginal relief, why not simplify the structure itself?
Example:
• Income: 12L → 0 tax
• Income: 12.5L → Tax only on 50K
• Income: 13L → Tax only on 1L

Yes,12L income = zero tax, while 12.76L means around 74K tax. Factually correct, but why is the focus always on finding the negative instead of appreciating the relief?

We have taken all necessary action to ensure that animal welfare activist Jagriti Mishra receives every possible support.
An inquiry into the Junior Engineer’s conduct has been ordered, and police have been directed to register a case against those responsible. District Magistrate has been instructed to assist her in setting up the animal shelter.
Financial assistance of ₹5 lakh from CM Relief Fund has also been assured.
Our government will not tolerate harassment of citizens or misuse of authority. Those found guilty will face strict action under the law.

Meet Jagriti Mishra, who runs Street Worldz Trust, a shelter for injured and paralyzed animals.
According to her allegations, an AAP-linked man named Sonu demanded a bribe from her to run the shelter. When she allegedly refused, the under-construction shelter was demolished without prior notice.
Let that sink in. A woman is trying to give helpless, paralyzed animals a place to live, and instead of helping her, she is now fighting to save the very shelter she was building.
If these allegations are true, who gave these people the right to misuse political power like this?
Does having political connections mean you can do whatever you want without fear of the law? And where are the authorities who are supposed to protect ordinary citizens?
Jagriti deserves answers, the allegations deserve an impartial investigation, and those helpless animals deserve a safe home.
