It was an honour to stand alongside veterans and others as we remembered the sacrifices that were made during the D-Day landings 80 year ago; sacrifices that ensured that today we have the freedoms that we cherish so dearly. #DDay80
Today, Norwich commemorated the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings. Many local veterans and dignitaries attended, including @LMNorwich, @TheSheriffHat, and the Vice Lord-Lieutenant of Norfolk. #DDay80

Delighted to have been re-elected to serve on @NorwichCC for another 4 years, and really appreciative of the level of support voters in Eaton have shown 🙏 📷 Britain Elects / New Statesman

Every vote for the Liberal Democrats counts. It's a vote to elect a strong local champion, who will fight for a fair deal for you and your community.

Our country thrives most when it is open and outward-looking. I'm proud of our party's internationalism and our commitment to restore overseas aid to 0.7% of GDP. I'm looking forward to saying more about this in my conference speech on Sunday. theguardian.com/politics/202…

Don’t forget! To vote in person in May’s local elections, now need a valid photo ID. Don’t lose your voice to those who want to make it harder to vote. Read more about the new voter ID rules ➡️ electoralcommission.org.uk/i… Sign up for a postal vote instead ➡️ libdems.org.uk/pv

It was good to catch PC Toes in the park this morning and talk about the high visibility policing being carried out to help with safety in the park at night.

This was 3 hours well spent yesterday afternoon. Huge thanks to Jon from @LittleRidersUK for delivering such a hugely informative session. Feel much better equipped to fix my bike now. 🚲💪
This afternoon we held another Learn to Fix workshop at Eaton Park Community Centre in Norwich. The 3 hour workshop is designed for adults who would like to learn how to check that their bike/their families bikes are safe & undertake minor repairs to keep them working well.

Dear all, Sarah, Daniel and I are doing our best to keep the post office open until our new starter Sonia joins us at the end of the month. We don't know what has been in the water this morning but we've had a lot of grief today. Please #bekind! – at Norwich, England

It took longer to elect her through that absurd leadership contest than she has been Prime Minister. They are a global joke dragging this country’s reputation ever lower

We don't need another Conservative Prime Minister lurching from crisis to crisis. We need a General Election now and the Conservatives out of power.

This is the most chaotic and incompetent government I've seen in my lifetime. How much longer will they cling on to power while the country suffers? General Election now.

Enough is enough. It started with Boris Johnson failing our country, and now Liz Truss has broken our economy. It is time for the people to have their say in a General Election.

As a semi-regular @BerylBikes user I really don't find it a problem getting to a bay, and the impact on the elderly and visually impaired when bikes & scooters are randomly left cannot be overstated, but sometimes Beryl do make it challenging to find a bay, like this at the @NNUH
The brand behind the city's scooter and e-bike scheme has explained why it has doubled the cost of some of its prices. eveningnews24.co.uk/news/bac…
