🚨 REPORT: Chicago born Chivas midfielder Brian Gutiérrez is reportedly weighing an exit from Guadalajara due to personal/family security concerns. Recent Mexican media reports (citing journalist Jesús Hernández and others) say a close associate of the 23 year old faced a serious incident tied to crime/insecurity in the city. This has him and his camp open to a move after the current Apertura, with a return to MLS viewed as one of the more realistic options. No formal agreement is in place, and some reports note Chivas internally push back on immediate exit talk.
