If you heard about every human act of genuine kindness or generosity or compassion from the media in the same manner that you hear about every dramatic murder or act of violence, we would all have a better attitude and be less fearful.

Pepperidge Farms remembers. So do I.
I asked a few people if they remembered Ask Jeeves and every single one looked at me like I made it up. HOW DO YOU NOT REMEMBER ASK JEEVES??? We literally used to ask a cartoon butler questions before Google became everyone’s entire personality. Please tell me someone else remembers this.

Son: Dad, could music really bring people together back when you were growing up? Me: Son, we had songs that could get an entire room of complete strangers singing together like they'd known each other their whole lives. Here, listen to this.

Yes, most episodes were based on a sexual misunderstanding. I loved this show as a kid.
This is how we all remember every episode of Three’s Company …

This brings back a lot of good memories
If you grew up in my era, you didn’t skip the HBO movie opener. You watched that little neighborhood come alive, blasted into space, and somehow knew whatever came next was going to be GOOD. That music still hits.

I concur
I’ll die on these retro hills: • The best Van Halen had David Lee Roth. • A paper map made road trips more interesting. • The anticipation of a TV Christmas special was half the magic. Who’s with me?

My dad used to completely lose interest in a movie if something stupidly unbelievable happened in it. But understand, this meant that if he was watching a werewolf movie and a character went to the post office on Sunday when they’re closed, he’s stop watching.

The fact that "Digger" has apparently tanked at the box office leads me to believe that no one wants to see Tom Cruise actually looking like a man in his mid-60's

Zooming in as it orbits is sooooo cool
Mars' largest moon Phobos is slowly spiraling inward and could break apart to form a ring or collide with Mars in about 50 million years.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The video appears to be a CGI simulation, not real spacecraft or telescope footage. NASA confirms Phobos is spiraling inward and may form a ring or collide with Mars in about 50 million years. science.nasa.gov/mars/moons/pho…
