The Google TPU history.
Considerable progress from v1 to v5 and a strong show of Google’s AI competency as it has not only built an accelerator but has developed a full stack that has enabled Google to develop and deliver model development, training, tuning, and inferencing built on its own silicon and also using much of its own network innovation. (And yes, a lot of Broadcom collaboration here as well).
It’s exciting to see different architecture for AI and a broader set of offerings and optionality for different workload demands.
