Congratulations to BELEN, which has been chosen by the Argentine Film Academy to represent the country at the Oscars! It tells the story of a girl who went to the hospital because she was hemorrhaging, only to be told that she'd had a miscarriage, then to be accused and convicted of having caused or obtained an abortion, and imprisoned. It took years to challenge and reverse this false conviction. A fate that looms, USA women?

My son rows for MRC (non profit org) he has made life long friends! Took these teens to dinner and by themselves put their phones down in the center of the table so they wouldn’t be “screenagers”! 🤯. They are raising money. Please consider giving givemiamiday.org/donate/Miam…

La Cabeza de Joaquín Murrieta or The Head of Joaquin Murrieta on Amazon Prime is a hidden western gem. I am not sure Prime knows what it has here, as they are not pushing this newly released 8-part miniseries. I loved it dubbed, but was even better with subtitles.
