This is the piece you’ve been waiting for. Sharda Ugra on Vinesh Phogat. espn.in/olympics/story/_/id/…
Sharda Ugra and @ZENIADCUNHA - two writers who have followed shooting and Manu Bhaker in some detail - discuss her medal-winning feat. A lot of insight here espn.in/video/clip/_/id/4066…
Very happy to have Sharda on board to help us cover the Olympics. She brings matchless reporting experience, knowledge of athletes and no-holds-barred writing (and speaking). And a terrific sense of humour.
Hello, headline writers (and writers in general): “Until” means “to the point of” and is NOT a substitute for “as long as”. Could have been “…for Governor while in office”

The Greek embassy @GreeceinIndia has now rejected mine and my family's Schengen visa TWICE. For no discernible reason, and after providing every document possible, they sent rejection letters with TWO DIFFERENT flimsy reasons each time. This is unacceptable.
Post a cover of a great album and nominate six people to do the same.

My colleague @AnirudhMenon89 on Neeraj Chopra - Already among the most successful Indian sportspersons ever, he could be the greatest this country has produced, as much for what he does off the field as what he's done on it. espn.in/espn/story/_/id/3828…
My two bits on Sinead O'Connor, peerless and one of a kind
Tribute | Sinéad O’Connor died last week. Her death affected many of us. And as we shared memories or thoughts, one thing became clear: none of us received her in exactly the same way, writes Jayaditya Gupta for #THMagazine.

Have been, like so many of us, a mix of numbed, sickened and furious since yesterday. Nothing I’ve seen in the past two decades has affected me like this. This tweet, though, puts all my anguish in perspective.

This is beautiful and, in their context, poignant...
Celebrating Rabindranath Tagore's birth anniversary (May 7th) at #HajiPublicSchool. Grade 9 assembly.
A picture that at once makes you sad but also gives you hope. Look at that smile. This is Invictus IRL.
You can take away our liberty, but not our smiles! Who wins then at the end of the day? Who loses?
