Here are some essential points to understand regarding the midterm elections today, and why we are in the position that we are. (See also the spiritual initiative to impact our country through real power in the comments in case you missed it yesterday) 1. Despite the myriad of confusion and lies that are are out there, and that and the sense that at times all hell is breaking loose in our day, the overarching reality is that God wins at all times, the abundant life is continuous, and that "there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed, and nothing concealed that will not be brought to light." #Luke 8:17 2. The country is in the desperate position that it is in primarily because of the spiritual strongholds over it that must be broken, and especially the spiritual blindness of many of the people that has caused them to be unaware of so many things that affect them. Therefore, the first solution is spiritual and of heart, and the second is natural. 3. The red wave of the 2024 election was a repudiation of the direction the country was heading in, the malignancy and corruption of the previous administration, and the overall inversion of the Democratic Party. 4. That wave gave a great amount of momentum and support to "America first" and thereby an enormous amount of political capital to spend on the greatness that which generations of Americans agreed on. 5. President Trump and his administration have done a significant amount of good for the country and have taken many necessary and outstanding actions, including making the southern border the safest in its history, ending wokeism in the federal government, addressing crime, endorsing MAHA, and much more. 6. However, a certain critical amount of that momentum, credibility, and key political capital has been lost, squandered, and ill-spent by the administration as a result of distraction, unnecessary pursuits, incoherency at times, and unforced errors that were not readily corrected and/or poorly communicated (Epstein, Iran, overcommitment to AI, etc.) 7. As a result, not only has so much of the good that the Trump administration has done been obscured, but also so has much of the wrong committed by the "enemy within" been obscured. 8. All of this has clearly impacted the 2026 Midterms. Given the tragic and unfortunate deteriorated state of the Democratic Party, the GOP should be lined up for a decisive and overwhelming victory (including the House). Stunningly, it is now all up in the air. The overly touted historic trends of incumbents suffering losses apply only partially to this election because of the Democratic Party’s state. The bigger factors are the complacency of the people and the Republicans’ (partial) failure to nail down the fundamentals as well as expose the cradles of corruption, which would have given people a clear understanding of who to vote for and who not to vote for. 9. This failure, and certainly along with the media’s corrupt bias and complicity has given life to a version of the Democratic Party that never could have existed at any other time in American history. It is virtually certain that not one Democrat running now could have even won a Democratic primary in the past, let alone won a general election. 10. The rift between President Trump and a number of key “former” MAGA leaders and influencers is a prime example of an unforced error by all parties involved. But a number of those former supporters have done the country no favors by unwittingly burning the ground that we must all walk on.
