Profit Taking
Everyone asks where and how to take profit. I'll write a longer post about it soon, but it’s not about selling in exactly three months or at a precise level.
No, no.
4 simple tips:
Have you ever heard about the gambler who, after years of casino visits, walked out with $1M and never returned?
Yeah, me neither.
The last two to three years were tough, but some will make life-changing money soon.
1. CHANGE YOUR LIFE.
If you suddenly sit on life-changing money -> cash out, put it in fiat, and move it to the bank.
Leave it on exchanges? You’ll round-trip it or gamble it away in the tough cycle stages that will follow.
Do this regardless of where we are in the cycle.
2. GRADUALLY OVER TIME.
If you are printing money—start taking small weekly amounts out.
Doing this is important not just to take profit but also to build the habit of selling.
You'll need to be able to sell more later in this cycle stage, so making it a habit early on (even by low $ amounts) will make it easier later on.
3. HAVE A PLAN. (now, don't make it when euphoric)
Of course, aside from taking life-changing money out and gradually cashing out as we rise, you can:
- Set a target zone for the market to increase profit-taking.
- Set rules for a bearish higher time frame market structure break. (or whatever your systems tells you)
- Create a format to sell low amounts gradually. Where, how much, why, when?
4. FOCUS ON YOURSELF.
Focus on yourself. There will always be outliers making $20M by buying some meme at a $500k market cap.
But that’s not a realistic goal. Just because a few do this while thousands lose doesn’t mean you should aim for the same.
Most will lose and round trip it all back to zero.
$10k is a lot.
$100k is a lot.
$1M is a lot.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise, including your mind.
Aim to finish this cycle with more money than you started. The power of having cash ready in the next bear market is insane.
Good times are coming, but make sure you’re still good in the next bear market.

Some logic that crossed my mind today, similar to how I think about memecoins
The #1 AI coin of this cycle
Should reach a GREATER market cap than the #5 to #7 Layer 1 of 2021
1. BTC
2. ETH
3. XRP 130B
4. SOL 80B
5. ADA 80B
6. DOT 53B
7. AVAX 30B
As a result of my simple logic- I have accumulated a top 5 position in my portfolio now in $RENDER
Simple logic: the top AI coin goes to 30B-80B this cycle
Which would put $RENDER at $50-$100 bucks a coin pretty easily
Another thought process I’ve had is how many people would buy the #1 AI coin during a bull run?
When people open up the AI section this bull run they will see Render at the top of it and the potential for millions of ppl to pull the trigger on it is there
Currently there’s only around 70k holders of Render
I think at least 1 million people would own the #1 AI coin during bubble
So potential 930,000+ buyers AFTER me
Watching Render its trading like the BTC of AI coins, and it is the biggest AI coin from this cycle
And since AI coins is a way younger sector than BTC
Right now could be seen as AI coins first or second cycle only which have the most easy to capture upside
Im in big on $RENDER now
My thought process for AI is not based off of the fundamentals of the coins but based on how other ppl are likely to perceive them. To any AI maxis who stumble on my tweet and realize none of my reasoning has to do with the tech or what it actually does. I’d be lying if I said I cared about it right now.
So I invite ppl to bring the more knowledgeable side about why this is a good or bad move.
Just keep in mind, the best tech isn’t what always wins
The best narrative, foundation, and timing do
Render has 3 of of those factors better than other AI coins right now in my eyes, without getting into the tech.
