Chuck Schumer is the reason Angie Nixon lost.
Hakeem Jeffries refused to endorse Zohran Mamdani until he had no other choice. These people cannot lead our party for the next two years. Far too much is at stake.WE DEMAND NEW LEADERSHIP. IT IS NOT NEGOTIABLE.

Oh, calling her Joanne absolutely is a power move. Just perhaps not the one she's imagined.
Joanne is her name. She holds no public office, possesses no constitutional authority and enjoys no hereditary entitlement to intellectual deference.
She is an extraordinarily wealthy and successful novelist. Splendid for her. But literary celebrity confers neither legislative authority nor the divine right to be correct.
I call her Joanne because, beneath the accumulated wealth, fame, adulation and ceremonial upholstery, she remains another person participating in a public argument.
Her opinions are entitled to precisely the same scrutiny as mine or yours.
The difference is that she possesses the resources to broadcast hers to millions.
A fortune is not a peerage. A bestseller is not a royal charter. And a pen name is not a crown.
I am perfectly happy to acknowledge her achievements. I simply decline to kneel before them.

ChatGPT has now a big problem.
Researchers at Oxford exposed a massive threat to large language models.β
Itβs called "Model Collapse."
And it explains why the internet is about to become a toxic waste dump for Large Language Models.
Right now, AI companies are scraping the entire web to train their next-generation models.
But thereβs a massive problem.
The internet is no longer just human data. It is rapidly filling up with AI-generated text, images, and code.
What happens when an AI trains on data generated by another AI?
A new paper in Nature just gave us the answer. And it is terrifying.
When AI models are recursively trained on AI-generated data, they suffer from irreversible brain damage.
The researchers found that the model starts forgetting the "tails" of the original data distribution. The rare, weird, unique, and complex human nuances completely disappear.
It's like making a photocopy of a photocopy.
Every generation loses resolution. The output gets flatter, blander, and more generic, until the model completely collapses in on itself.
For years, we thought the biggest bottleneck for AI was compute, getting enough H100 GPUs from Nvidia.
This paper proves the real bottleneck is us.
If we keep flooding the internet with synthetic AI slop, we will poison the very data pool required to build smarter models.
The ultimate irony? We thought AI was going to make human creators obsolete.
Instead, this research proves that verified, genuine human data is about to become the most valuable commodity in the tech industry.

Elon Musk now needs to be held accountable for election interference.

If Elon Musk can waste $450M on Republican support, he can pay his fair share of taxes.
The βitβs mostly tied up in assetsβ fanboys seem to conveniently overlook how Musk can suddenly materialise $450M to throw at the republican campaign when it suits.
Democrats must be absolutely ruthless now.
No βhealing the nationβ. No βmoving onβ, no βreconciliationβ, no βbridging the gapsβ. No βif they go low, we go highβ. No Obamism.
Subpoena, impeach, prosecute, imprison. Trumpism is criminal & should be treated as such.

Elon is toast. Congress now has free rein to expose him as the traitor he is. He may be charged with high crimes; he may be pardoned. Three things he canβt escape: exposure, markets, and state-level charges. Congress should launch a lengthy investigation and curtail his ability to flee the country.
If a billionaire attacks a minority or flees a state to avoid paying taxes which will not financially impact them but will help the poor then yes, they are the bad guys.

it was always heading this way. the idea that a queer identity leads to unhappiness and can or should be discouraged is old-school homophobia of the exact kind that led to section 28, and has been the obvious goal of the TERF movement for over a decade now

If you're a gay or bi person who supports the "gender critical" movement, when they are saying that your sexuality is a possible phase, I would speak to your therapist about self-hatred and sociopathy. They're coming for gay rights, as we said they would, and you're helping them.
You have far more in common with migrants on dinghies and trans people trying to make it through the day than you do with billionaires blaming migrants and trans people as they guzzle unnecessarily expensive champagne on their super yachts.
