Grok Bot was a rug pull
I'm a Grok @Bot fan. I also can't keep paying for it like this.
Since August, I've gone all in. I built a team of 24 bots to run my business, and I've told everyone who would listen: newsletter subscribers, conference audiences, podcast hosts, and my mastermind members.
Then something changed. No announcement. No explanation. Suddenly, the same work cost far more than it used to.
This week I hit my weekly usage limit after just five days. That's never happened before. When it happens, Grok Bot keeps running on paid credits. On top of my $200 monthly subscription, I've spent more than $272 on extra usage. It's November 3.
Here's what scares me. Under the new limits, I'm burning about $14 an hour. At 10 hours a day, that's $140 a day, or roughly $4,200 a month, plus the subscription.
So I did what users do. I went looking for fixes.
1. Pause the routines. I paused 19 scheduled tasks this morning. It barely helped. Spending kept climbing.
2. Duplicate long-running bots. Others recommend copying a bot to start its conversation fresh. But the copy loses everything the bot has learned about you.
3. Rethink group chats. This turned out to be the real cost. Every message in a group chat wakes every bot in it, even the ones with nothing to say. Most of my usage now comes from conversations, not automation.
Here's where we are. I'm moving shared project context out of group chats and into notes the bots read only when they need them. One lead bot per project. Fewer wake-ups.
It's helping. But I shouldn't have to reverse-engineer the billing to use the product the way it's designed.
Let me be clear. I'm not a freeloader. I don't expect free AI, and I'm happy to pay for real value. Grok Bot delivers real value.
What I can't do is commit a business to a platform when I can't predict what it will cost from one week to the next. That uncertainty is the problem.
The Grok Bot team has built something remarkable. I don't want to find an alternative, but I may have to. It all depends on whether SpaceXAI fixes this.

absolute retards
@TeamYouTube
It turns out Youtube's AI moderation is demonetizing true crime content creators across the board. Explore With Us has been around for over a decade and gets tens of millions of views per month.
EWU was demonetized yesterday as well, the same as me ("generic content").
Is this AI moderation gone haywire?
"All Watched Over By Machines Of Loving Grace"? Perhaps not.
Objectively, the “Great Replacement” has already occurred

YouTube's Risking a HUGE LAWSUIT
They're directly VIOLATING the EU Digital Services Act’s Article 17
This states that YouTube as a VLOP is required to give affected users a CLEAR and SPECIFIC statement of reasons for restrictions such as the suspension, termination or other restriction of monetary payments
Meanwhile YouTube just hit this guy (who's a EU citizen ) with "Channel violates other policy"
WHICH OTHER POLICY?????
@TeamYouTube @YouTube @vonderleyen
This has been happening to thousands of creators from the EU 🧵
Replying to @TeamYouTube
@TeamYouTube you are STEALING $10,000/month from me.
First I was demonetized for "Reused content"
Complete lie, we use ZERO content from anyone else.
So I made an appeal explaining all of this clearly
Rejected. New reason: “Channel violates other policy.”
This may as well read "We want to take 100% of adsense revenue"
@TeamYouTube are you able to tell me which specific policy this channel is in violation of please? (sent link in PMs)
Tell me and I’ll shut up
Can’t tell me? Then that’s theft, and I’ll fight for every dollar
Beware of HSBC!
HSBC held my money hostage for 11 months
Froze my account for zero reason and ghosted me
I had to hunt down their executives’ emails just to get my own cash back
They tried to throw $829 at me to shut up
Instead I pulled their internal files and took them to the ombudsman
They got forced to pay me $3,160
And I’m not the only one. HSBC Expat has 1.5 stars on Trustpilot, packed with people whose money got frozen the same way
Same bank that laundered cartel money and walked away with a fine
Get your money out before you’re next
Does anyone have experience with buying services from SWAPD?
Can anyone vouch or share their experience with this specific seller/service?
Looking for someone who can get terminated channels reinstated.
DM/comment if you are/know someone who can help.
still ignored by @TeamYouTube
has anyone gotten youtube to fix something by going through the EU?
august 27: youtube says they'll answer my appeal in 14 days
september 27: still nothing
happy one month anniversary @TeamYouTube

Replying to @jchmdc @TeamYouTube

Replying to @TeamYouTube
@TeamYouTube my YPP application appeal has been “under review” for 20 days now.
Could you please look into this?
I’ve sent the channel URL in DM.
