Want to get more involved locally? This is one of the simplest ways to do it. Bonneville County is currently accepting filings for Republican Precinct Committeemen (PCOs). This is a neighborhood-level role that represents your precinct and helps organize voters locally. Many precincts have no one running. In many cases, if someone from the neighborhood files, they're the only name on the ballot. Filing takes just a few minutes online. How to file: 1. Go to run.voteidaho.gov 2. Click "File for Office" 3. Select "Regular Filing" 4. Enter your information to verify your voter record 5. For District Type, choose "Precinct Committeeman" 6. The system will show your precinct number and guide you through the rest Important dates - Filing period: March 2 – March 13, 2026 - Filing deadline: Friday, March 13 at 5:00 PM - Withdrawal deadline: March 20, 2026 If you file and later decide it isn't for you, you can withdraw before the withdrawal deadline. So there's very little downside to stepping forward. Local communities are stronger when regular citizens stay involved. If you've ever thought about participating more in local civic life, this is a good place to start. And if you decide to file, feel free to let me know. I'd be glad to support you.

New at the Chronicle: Money is flowing into Idaho Falls on the eve of the mayoral runoff election. Will the grassroots overcome the political machine? gemstatechronicle.com/2025/1…

This is why I'm running. On November 4th, I received the most votes in Idaho Falls' mayoral race, but didn't reach 50%, so we're headed to a runoff election on December 2nd. Since then, everything changed. Outside interests are now spending massive money to manipulate local voters with lies. Here's the complete story about the $63,000 "dark money" campaign trying to influence Idaho Falls voters. Dark money refers to political spending where the original donors are hidden or difficult to trace. It flows through multiple organizations to obscure who's really behind it. This is my full response to the lies, the coordination, and the out-of-state influence flooding our mayor's race. Idaho Falls needs to hear this before December 2nd. #IdahoFalls #jeff4if

I need to address the lies immediately. Over $63,000 in outside PAC money from Boise, Atlanta, and Wyoming has flooded into our Idaho Falls mayor runoff race. More than double my entire campaign budget. Read my full response with receipts: jeff4if.com/news/dark-money-… They're sending you trash mailers filled with lies, trying to manipulate your vote. People who don't live in our city, can't vote in this race, but think they can buy influence of Idaho Falls. There's now a third mailer claiming I want to "eliminate impact fees." Complete garbage. The Eastern Idaho Home Builders Association had to put out their own statement defending themselves from these misleading attacks. You voted for change on November 4th. On December 2nd, let's finish what we started. #IdahoFalls #jeff4if

The runoff election is Tuesday, December 2. Despite winning the most votes in the first round, Idaho Falls requires a runoff to choose our next mayor and set the direction of our city. Make your plan to vote, and bring someone who didn't vote the first time. #jeff4if #IdahoFalls

Crossed the finish line at Shelley's Spud Day 5K with my daughter Reagan—her very first 5K! She's been training hard, working toward her Physical Fitness Badge with American Heritage Girls (AHG). I didn't get a chance to train (and was fighting a cold), but there was no way I was missing this moment with her. Nothing better than watching her reach her goal after all that hard work. Great to see our neighboring communities celebrating what makes Eastern Idaho special! 🥔🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Honored to speak at the Idaho Falls Rescue Mission this morning, right across from our city’s 9/11 memorial. Today is a heavy day, but I’m grateful that what began as a day of mourning has become America’s largest day of service. Tragedy transformed into service—ashes into beauty.

Ever wonder why you feel like city leadership doesn't really listen? Here's a red flag: In over 1,200 city votes during the last five years, disagreement was so rare that the mayor only had to break ties TWICE—once about federal funding timing, once about planting trees. Two tie-breakers in five years. That's not normal. That's groupthink. When six people almost never disagree on anything important—budgets, rezonings, fee increases—it means they've stopped listening to different perspectives. Including yours. Think about it: If they can't even find ONE council member willing to question a major decision, why would your three minutes of public comment matter? This is why you feel unheard. This is why 16,000 registered voters in Idaho Falls don't even bother showing up anymore. The current mayor and council have created a culture where tough questions aren't welcome, where real debate is discouraged, where your input gets a polite nod then ignored. But November 4 is your chance to change all that. This election is a referendum on whether city leadership should actually listen to residents or keep rubber-stamping decisions in lockstep. I'm running for mayor—and we need new council members too—because Idaho Falls deserves leaders who welcome disagreement, ask tough questions, and fight for you instead of around you. What issue in your area needs someone willing to break up the groupthink and actually fight for you? Read the full article: jeff4if.com/news/when-nobody… #IdahoFalls #jeff4if

“It’s disheartening for a city of our size how little engagement there is (with locals),” Alldridge says. “Mayor Casper is hard to get in touch with. She’s very … curt and rude, if they even get a chance to talk with her, and there’s a big disconnect.” eastidahonews.com/2025/09/5-…

Earlier this year, Idaho Falls conducted a livability survey to gauge how residents feel about our community. Over 100 questions, 30+ minutes to complete, with NO space for actual comments from residents. Only 388 people out of 69,000 bothered to finish it. Read the full breakdown of what your neighbors really think: jeff4if.com/news/survey-says… But even with a survey designed to produce favorable results, the data tells a story of widespread frustration: ✅ 84% say Idaho Falls is a good place to live ✅ 74% appreciate our city workers (police, fire, street crews) But only 46% have confidence in city government. The breakdown gets worse: ❌ Only 24% think residential growth is well-planned ❌ Just 16% believe we're succeeding on affordable housing ❌ Code enforcement: 29% approval ❌ Recycling services: 17% approval ❌ Traffic flow: 28% approval Translation: We love our community and respect the people doing the work, but we've lost faith in those making the decisions. When 3 out of 4 residents don't think growth is well-planned, when basic services like recycling score just 17%, and when only 1 in 6 people think we're succeeding on affordable housing, something has to change. This election is about choosing between more of the same or leadership that actually listens to families, protects neighborhoods, and gets the basics right. The data doesn't lie: Idaho Falls is ready for new leadership. What's your biggest frustration with how our city is being run? I'm listening. #IdahoFalls #jeff4if
