ISRAEL ELECTIONS: So far, the voter turnout is on pace to be the highest since 1973! Stay tuned for what surprises this might mean for scrambling predictions.
ISRAEL ELECTIONS: Schedule - today is just the start! W/in 7 days Israeli president gives either Eisenkot/Netanyahu 1st chance to form govt for 28 days w/possible 14 day extension. If fails, other side gets 28 days. If fails, anyone can try for 21 days. If fail - 2nd election.
ISRAEL ELECTIONS: Or will Eisenkot fail to form govt which most likely would mean another round of elections. Outside shot of Eisenkot-Bibi reaching a deal where Eisenkot is PM and Likud is equal partner+maybe pardon for Bibi from criminal trial.
ELECTIONS: Expectations from polls are for Eisenkot bloc to slightly edge Netanyahu bloc to get 1st chance to form Knesset.But Eisenkot bloc probably falls short w/o Arab parties which are having best showing in years. Will Eisenkot partners break promise+cut deal w/Arab parties?
ISRAEL ELECTIONS: Weather: its supposed to be raining and even thundrestroming in many aprts of the country for some hours, possibly even some flooding in the south. Will this impact voter turnout? Israelis are not used to rain! Or will people brave the rain or come after it ends
ISRAEL ELECTIONS: Voting %. Last election voting % was around 70%. Predictions are for this 1 to reach 75%. This could make it harder for 2 small parties: Ofer Winter (right) and Yoaz Hendel (center right but working with Eisenkot bloc) and increase Knesset seats for big parties.
