Will the family heal?” Yet the equally legitimate questions about Meghan’s side of the family meet only silence. The Sussex-aligned commentators and journalists who keep recycling this one-sided reconciliation narrative owe the public some answers. Why is one fractured family endlessly expected to forgive and forget, while the other is never expected to confront or heal anything at all? The selective silence is not accidental. It reveals exactly which relationships are considered valuable and which ones are treated as disposable. A genuine reality check is long overdue. If reconciliation is truly about accountability, forgiveness and healing, the principle must apply equally to both sides. Otherwise, it isn’t a principle. It’s just selective PR.
