Was Google Maps always this bad? Horrendous UX. Apple Maps vs Google Maps.

Not a fan of “it’s so over” posts, but the entire design and suggestions were made using AI. Pretty happy with the result.
Check out thew new re-designed Social Steps website - socialstepsapp.com It was designed using @ReaddyAI, big thanks to them for offering such a great product.

Finally removed the bloated Facebook SDK from @socialstepsapp. I only used it to authenticate users, something that is now done with their REST API. App is now about 30% smaller and users will most likely not be tracked anymore. Whatever you do, avoid this SDK at all costs.

I made the mistake once by adding the Facebook SDK to @socialstepsapp. The experience that I had with them has always been negative, from tedious long reviews with tons of questions to simply ignoring serious issues on their GitHub repo: shorturl.at/ivOR1 Avoid at all costs

It’s such a joy to develop new features using The Composable Architecture (@pointfreeco)- the only issue now is that I can’t imagine working on a project without this library.
You can now see a friend’s friends to make it easier to sync a larger group of friends.

Gotta love these reviews. "Good, but feature x is missing" -> 1 star 🤷🏻‍♂️

Kicking off the first Frankfurt meetup with @mreichelt (Snapp Mobile) talking about “removing the fear of code signing”. Let’s hope that this meetup kicks off many future events.

Can anyone recommend me a good alternative to @n26? Some bank with similar features. I asked N26 3 times for help with an issue I had and they contacted me back every time but then never got back to me once I gave them information. Disappointing service.

Thank you all for all the tips. I ended up creating a new account with @_tomorrow_one. So far so good, apart from the gradient in the app icon that hurts my eyes. :)

The new Boba Fett tv-show feels quite unnecessary. Slow, boring and uninspired. The latest episode having a boring long action scene with slow Vespas just says everything about it. Yawn!

Quick trip to Munich and back to Frankfurt costed me 217,80 euros with Deutsche Bahn. No wonder people prefer to take the car instead. Taking the train instead for the environment will never be an option with these prices.

Also DB calling this price “super Sparpreis“ must be someone taking the piss.

Hey @n26, I got in touch with your support that promised to get back to me. They never did, even though I wrote them again. Very disappointing experience. What can I do to get proper support?

I'll be in Munich for this event. Hope to see everyone there!
Join us on the 2nd of December, where Karim Alweheshy @reetweeetted will make a presentation on modularization. For more details, see the event details: meetup.com/The-Munich-iOS-De…

Anyone knows what's the status with Google's NearbyMessages for iOS? It's not available on GitHub and I tried to reach out to support on the website without any success. It lacks SPM support and hasn't been updated with a slice to support M1 Macs. Would be a shame to remove it.

hey @Meetup , are you having technical issues with sending emails? I have tried 3 times to send out an email with a zoom link for an online meetup happening soon and no one has received any email.

This event will now be a hybrid event, meaning that you can join in person if you want. See the meetup details for more information. We also have a second speaker: Andrew Petrus @BlazeThePiper will be talking about remote executable code. See you there!
It's been a while since we had our last iOS meetup, but it is now time to kick things off with an online event: meetup.com/The-Munich-iOS-De… Would you like to present as well? Send an PM!
