'I can still remember what an ex-CPP/NPA member once told me ... in Shanghai. I asked him why does he think the CPP/NPA wasn’t able to achieve what Mao achieved. Without batting an eyelash he answered: “Because the CPP/NPA connived with the elite.” -- Sass Rogando Sasot

Marcos called him a liar. The Supreme Court has now struck down the budget he warned about.
Jan. 18, 2025: Former President Rodrigo Duterte said the 2025 budget had items left blank "to be filled up later on." His verdict: "The budget, in totality, is invalid."
Jan. 20, 2025: President Marcos called him a liar.
March 11, 2025: Duterte was kidnapped and flown to The Hague.
Oct. 20, 2026: The Supreme Court declared the 2024 and 2025 national budgets unconstitutional. It struck down the unprogrammed appropriations (standby funds that can only be released if revenue beats targets), which the bicameral committee increased by P449.5 billion in 2024. The court also noted the committee kept no records of the changes it made.

Is Philippine National Security Being Mortgaged to Washington? Is Philippine National Security for Sale? The Gibo Letters, Washington, and the Price of Political Ambition
By Anna Malindog-Uy
October 21, 2026
When the lives of Filipino soldiers, national defense resources, and strategic alliances become entangled with allegations of personal political ambition, the nation deserves more than denials. It deserves the truth.
Two alleged letters bearing the signature of Defense Secretary Gibo Teodoro Jr. have surfaced, raising troubling questions about Philippine national security, the country's increasingly Washington-aligned defense posture, and the possibility of political ambition intruding into decisions involving Filipino soldiers' lives.
The first, dated July 31, 2026, and allegedly addressed to Peter Enzminger, a US Embassy official reportedly and allegedly linked to American intelligence, the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency), contains extraordinary assertions about the July 20 maritime confrontation at Ayungin Shoal, cooperation with Washington, and Gibo’s potential political ascent. A second purported letter, dated May 29, raises questions about defense procurement, US military infrastructure, strategic minerals, and economic cooperation.
The Department of National Defense (DND) categorically rejected the July document as fabricated and referred it to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI). The Manila Times later reported the emergence of a second alleged letter. Both were noted to be still unverified.
With this, the underlying questions about Philippine defense policy, foreign influence, political ambition, and military accountability are too consequential to dismiss.

Accountability, Transparency, Integrity
The Supreme Court has struck down unconstitutional provisions in the 2024, 2025, and 2026 budgets. Atty. Camille Ting explained: liability was not the issue in the case — but those who authored or implemented unconstitutional appropriations can be held accountable if they acted in bad faith.
• Accountability: Leaders must answer for decisions that betray the Constitution.
• Transparency: Every peso must be traceable to the people’s sacrifice.
• Integrity: Without integrity, governance collapses into self-interest.
Betrayal of Public Trust
When billions are allocated beyond constitutional limits, it is not just a technical violation — it is a betrayal of the people’s trust. Every peso wasted is a peso stolen from classrooms, hospitals, and livelihoods.
👉 Mahiya ka naman, Mr. President.
The Constitution is not negotiable. Leadership is not about power, but about service.
True greatness lies in humility — in admitting mistakes, correcting them, and ensuring justice for the people. Inspiring leadership means standing firm for integrity even when it is inconvenient.
🌍 Takeaway: Accountability is justice. Transparency is trust. Integrity is leadership. Without these, democracy is hollow.

Israel was K!LLING Palestinians in order to use their organs.
First Israel denied it and called "antisemitic".
But later admitted that its forensic pathologists harvested organs from DEAD PALESTINIANS, without permission of their families.
IT NEVER STARTED ON OCTOBER 7!
May statement ba? Buti pa sa Nepal, may statement siya.

🌧️ We Must Act Before the Floods Rise
By Dr. Tony Leachon
More than 8.4 million Filipinos have been affected by the Southwest Monsoon and the recent cyclones Luis, Maymay, and Neneng.
Each storm leaves behind not only damaged homes but also a trail of preventable illness — leptospirosis, the silent epidemic that follows every flood.
We cannot wait for hospitals to overflow before we move.
The government must mobilize local governments and agencies to protect communities before the next downpour.
Empowerment begins at the barangay level — where health workers, not just physicians, can save lives through preparedness.
Doxycycline prophylaxis should be part of every disaster checklist — alongside food packs, blankets, and clean water.
According to PSMID and PhilHealth guidelines, adults exposed to floodwaters may take 200 mg doxycycline within 24–72 hours, or once weekly for continuous high‑risk exposure.
Those with wounds or ingestion risk may require 200 mg daily for 3–5 days, under medical supervision.
Contraindicated for pregnant or lactating women, children under 8, and those allergic to tetracyclines.
This is not just about medicine — it’s about governance, foresight, and compassion.
When we empower people to protect themselves, we save lives long before the sirens sound.
Health is non‑negotiable. Prevention is the only way forward.
Around 8.4 million individuals have been affected by the southwest monsoon and recent cyclones Luis, Maymay, and Neneng, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC) said on Sunday.

Everywhere that the Filipino tennis star Alexandra Eala plays, legions of fans follow, often waving the Philippine flag and signs in Tagalog (“Laban, Alex!”). Eala mania, people call it, and the 21-year-old athlete, who is currently ranked 18th in the world, has embraced her role as ambassador. In online videos, she lists puto bumbong as one of her favorite Filipino foods, argues that the resort island Boracay isn’t overrated, shares that she named one of her (pig) slippers Chicharrón, and proclaims her love for karaoke.
