Congrats to @SenateBanking and other staff who wrote this 50 page, 330 citation analysis on the consequences of lax anti-trust in raising prices. Not easy to write this while also handling Committee and other work. Worth the read. warren.senate.gov/wp-content…

My X account was temporarily hacked. If you get any odd messages from me, don’t pay attention. Should be fixed now.

Even the banks don’t like the new CRA rule (and they’re so careful in their critique of the Administration you have to multiply their stated concerns x10 to get an accurate read). Great story by @ryanjtracy capitolaccountdc.com/p/no-fe…

👇I think this could be true of Alsobrooks too
If Gillibrand runs for another term in 2030 — and that is a big if from what I hear — she will almost certainly face a serious primary challenge. Theoretically, that seat could be a bit of a soft landing option for AOC if she runs for president in 2028 and it doesn’t pan out.

This kind of dodge should be embarrassing for a United States Senator. There’s a simple answer, and we all know what it is.
I asked Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand if it bothers her that her staff trades crypto while she works on legislation that benefits the industry. “This is not a nanny state,” she said. Profiled crypto’s favorite Democrat for @NYMag: nymag.com/intelligencer/arti…

This case has no merit, but if he does he might need to fire himself and a few members of his Administration who reportedly have done the exact same thing.

Unlike past bubbles like railroads and fiber optics, this current one is unlikely to leave behind much useful infrastructure
This is what crowd out looks like.
