🍄 5TH SKILL GUIDE Let’s take a look at Skill Nodes this time! When we equip a Skill Node, we gain a new skill. Each class has its own unique 5th Job skills, and there are also universal skills that all classes can use I’ll go over the 5th Job skills for my main character, the Shadower and then explain the universal skills as well 💠Shadower's 5th Skills Trickblade is the Shadower’s first invincibility skill and also serves as a damage dealing skill Sonic Blade and Slash Shadow Formation are powerful boss focused skills Shadow Assault lets you dash in any direction and can be used up to four times in a row It’s a dash type attack skill, and thanks to this ability, Shadower gameplay becomes much more stylish and fluid, especially during hunting 💠 Thief's 5th Skills Venom Burst and Last Resort were recently improved in KMS and became much stronger Depending on how MSU decides to implement the update, there’s a chance that Venom Burst may not be used if the older version remains Shadow Walker is an extremely useful skill It allows Dark Sight to remain active even while using skills, and it also increases our final damage This effect stacks together with the Advanced Dark Sight skill 💠 Common Skills There are many different common skills, and some of them can also be obtained through item pot Since we’ll likely be short on node slots early on, it may be better to keep using the common skills we already have from item pot Among the common skills that cannot be obtained through potentials, a few are especially worth paying attention to Blink, Erda Nova, Holy Symbol, and Erda Shower/Fountain 1⃣ Blink teleports us to a random location on the map, or allows us to hover in midair if used while jumping This skill can help us dodge boss mechanics that are otherwise hard to avoid 2⃣Erda Nova currently a stun skill that only a few classes have access to, but after 5th Job, everyone can use it, making boss fights much more manageable. 3⃣Holy Symbol the well-known EXP buff skill that helps Bishops level quickly After 5th Job, everyone will be able to use it too (though the effect is weaker than a Bishop’s actual Holy Symbol) 4⃣Erda Shower/Fountain Erda Shower deals damage around the character when used, while Erda Fountain lets us place a sphere that activates after defeating a certain number of monsters, dealing damage in the surrounding area This becomes extremely convenient for hunting 🍄Even though there are many different 5th Job skills, we probably won’t be able to use all of them right from the start, simply because we won’t have enough node slots We’ll have to choose which ones to use for hunting and which ones to use for bossing, and switch them around as needed But even then, the slots may still feel limited, so it’s a good idea to think ahead and decide which skills we want to prioritize! @MaplestoryU
