msft has flipped a switch and now every user in *your* org can get a trial license for m365 copilot "without an admin's help", by default this includes building their own custom agents (!) turn this off at admin -> self-service purchase -> Do not allow

our document management tool "m-files" doesn't support arm64 at all, but they claim to be working on it. im not holding my breath, but luckily i can use the web version

the @discord desktop client work on arm, but its incredibly slow, which is weird since its an electron app. but i can live with using the web version for now

App compatibility has been great for the most part, most the apps i use just work and perform as expected, most of them have an ARM64 versions. for some reason onedrive was a x86 process out of the box, but fixing that was easy enough. that said there are two exceptions to this

The performance has been excellent, everything feels snappy and loads quickly, even the hyper-v VMs i have are performant and pleasant to work on

I love the instant sleep/resume with the whfb camera, having a windows device that resumes from sleep like an ipad is incredible!
