Not sure if it is the hospital scamming or the insurance company scamming me.
As a consumer, if I knew what all won't be included in the "package" - which neither hospital nor insurance company sharing it in advance during pre-approval - I could have chosen another insurance company.
One thing before you go for cashless claim for an insurance, ask whether all the surgical instruments are covered under the "package".
20% of the claim got rejected classifying them under the category "Instrument/monitor/pulse".
