🇬🇧Aviva Investors is doubling down on XRPL for money market funds. They use the MPT standard of the XRP Ledger 👀. Just tokenized a share class of their £22 Billion Sterling Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger! Everyone can check on the chain too. This is in addition to their USD Liquidity fund earlier this year. A few interesting flags they have enabled/disabled. RequireAuth is enabled: Only KYCed and authorized investors can hold the token. CanClawback is enabled: They can clawback the token for compliance in legal cases. CanTransfer is disabled: Means transfers only between Issuer and holder for mint/redemption activities. Given privacy (Confidential Transfers) is coming to the XRP Ledger as well this RWA issuance is equipped for future use cases as well 💯.

Big news as Aviva Investors announces the launch of a tokenized share class of the Aviva Investors Sterling (GBP) Liquidity Fund on the XRP Ledger. The Sterling (GBP) Liquidity Fund is Aviva Investors’ largest fund at around £22 billion in assets under management, and this move marks an expansion of Aviva Investors’ tokenised fund offering, following the launch of its tokenized USD Liquidity Fund in July. Investors receive the same protections as those in the conventional fund, which was initially launched in 2002. Markets are moving to 24/7 access and real-time settlement.
