Don’t know how Cito Gaston has been bounced from this ballot for Joe Maddon. Cito and his Blue Jays won back to back WS titles in 1992-93. First African-American skipper to win WS. His players still swear by his leadership qualities. Needs to be in. Felipe Alou also.

You and a friend decide to split a pizza. There are eight slices. You each get four.
That's not MLB's "50/50" revenue split. MLB's proposing they just get to call some of the slices "non-pizza" and only *then* split the pizza. So they get 5 or 6 slices and you get 2 or 3.

@openai Beware of the Ides of Codex... I was chilling on my terrace, another nice Saturday morning with a view of the Alps and the weekend FT on my lap. Codex was meant to classify some historical newspaper articles. Routine. We had tested it during the week - 5.4 nano vs mini. Nano was good enough. This am, i press the button and say - go and classify some 16k articles. Half an hour later, I check my email...
I had forgotten what a great album Metric's "Fantasies" is. Just one banger after another as the kids say.
I don't think I've seen a mainstream publication give this negative of a review to a major release.
