It's that time of the year when families are trying to remember the rules to the White Elephant gift exchange game.

I was hoping I'd wake up today and feel better about it, but I don't. I found our concession vandalized last night when I went to go get it ready for today's game. Band parents work really hard to provide for the band through this building. I'm sad.

Y'all, it is so cold in my office. I'm wearing a jacket and beanie. An upgrade to a winter coat may be the next step, but I live in a part of Texas where I don't need to own a winter coat... But now I need to buy one for my university office? Brrrr

I often threaten not to watch another Pixar movie until A Bug's Life gets a sequel. I may renew that pledge today.

My university went remote today because of the weather. Though we are built for this now and it is convenient, my lesson students suffer when the campus is closed. 1) they can't get to instruments owned by the school 2) they don't have a place to Zoom for the lesson.
