DO NOT FALL FOR MEV BOT scams! I have seen them a lot on youtube and twitter. The basic 'premise' is that you 'build your own bot' with their code.
Being curious, I checked out the code of one of these cause it did not seem right. And I am building my own trading bots anyways. Often what they do is sneak in a "API key" or other right sounding jargon that a newer coder (using a lot of GPT) thinks makes sense.
In reality what happens is you fund the scammers wallet and not your own, or they have you send it to a contract that you cannot withdrawal from. Some of these look super legit and have thousands of followers on their accounts. DO NOT TAKE THE BAIT!
I am glad I dug into it, and honestly I found it interesting, but I can see why it would be hard to spot. Even ChatGPT was like, should be fine, just make sure it is ethical. So don't rely on AI to help spot these right now either.
