This post is simple. This is my WHY! 100% of my seniors have been accepted into college, and we are celebrating! Every senior in our building will leave the Castle with choices and opportunities because they not only believed, they KNEW they could! #WandsUp

Week in Review: from behind the scenes look during making a video with the kids, to a college acceptance, to costume day, to a celebration of a healthy campus! The Castle is always lit!

Today I got to dig in my toolkit and pull something I learned under the leadership of @DrCrystalWatson! I had my first Principal On Site Day with one of my APIs. Talk about powerful. I was able to provide real time coaching and sit in with her in pivotal moments. #WandsUp

One of my favorite things to do is make our videos to address our staff every so often! I am repurposing our videos for a few weeks to bring special guests on and learn about their perspective in the Castle! We are starting with our ED applicants youtu.be/VIhLDidEoSI

Today I am so proud to say my article was released on school culture in the DISCovery in Ed! I am so appreciative of those that have supported me through this work! This has been a 3 month adventure and I would do it all again! #Published

Today our Lead Team presented our PTG (Progress to Goals) meeting where we were able to update our Regional team on where we were! This was a great time for us to pause and reflect on what is working in our CIP and what is not. Now we can adjust with our next steps! #WandsUp

Instruction has been on fire today in the Castle. We take no days off because our kids deserve the best everyday! Our teachers are dedicated to making a difference with high quality instruction daily. That’s what it means to be a Wizard. #WandsUp

At Pflugerville CP we are serious about college. We take no excuses and we break down barriers! Each day we are monitoring our progress and following up with our students. We let them see our commitment to their future is real! #WandsUp #CollegeForAll

I am so proud of my API, Sarah! Not only is she thriving in her role as a 1st year API…she is supporting the work on a regional level each month! There is nothing like going to a session knowing you are going to have the best trainer that is representing the Castle! #WandsUp

Our 6th Graders were inducted into the to CP today with our T-Shirt Ceremony! Our Seniors helped by passing out the shirts and posing for pics with our 6th Graders! I am so proud to have a great student body that all embrace the one house, one campus mentality! #WandsUp

Today was a great day. We had Student/Teacher switch dress day! And my seniors surprised me with an earl birthday celebration! Man I truly love this work & love my kids! ❤️🪄🎊 #WandsUp #TeamAndFamily

This week’s video was interesting to say the least, but I was happy to highlight where we are going moving forward with our staff! #WandsUp youtu.be/WZdkXX8kNn8?is=WCBf…

We were able to provide our students with a traditional experience when our qualified juniors and seniors were able to get fitted for their letterman jackets! They will be our first students to ever receive a letterman! Proud to be a Wizard #WandsUp

Y’all know I love me a good pep rally! High School showed up and showed out! And unfortunately I lost the dance battle to three seniors (I won’t live that down)! But talk about a space of such joy a pfamily fun #WandsUp

Recognizing our seniors for 100% attendance today! They lead by example each and every day! #ClassOf27 #YallTheTea #WandsUp

Today we created an environment of Joy for our MS Team & Family. We took the time to practice Habit 7: Sharpen the Saw by having our first MS Pep Rally! Giving our students the space to be themselves and enjoy their peers. HS up next! #WandsUp

Today we celebrated our APO and Enrollment Coordinator as we are the only campus in our region that exceeded our enrollment goal! Their hardwork and dedication have set the tone for a wonderful school year where we continue to elevAte in every endeavor! #WandsUp

This week we are focusing on Habit 2: Beginning with the End in Mind! Let’s get it!

When words on a paper, email, or newsletter don’t seem like enough…sometimes it’s best to bring the words to life. I love working with our Digital Technology CTE students to make moments like these for our teachers! youtu.be/JxmwNdbd21c?is=Z7Fr…
