Sometimes in life you need to hit rock bottom in order to wake up to reality. This could be the driving force to propel you to greater things. Above all, a chance to reassess things and reorganize your life. – at Kampala, Uganda

Sir, salaries are paid before the month ends. Public service recommends 28th. Why are you paying on the 6th?

I don’t condone abusive rhetoric but we shouldn’t be forgetful when he referred to one of presidential candidate as a drug addict and a ganja man who was not fit for office. Right now the same rhetoric has been used on him as miyayu. We have to be mindful of the power of tongue.

Religious Leaders We Cannot Continue To Launder Bad Leadership!!!
Today, at a breakfast organized by the Patriotic League of Uganda, Apostle Grace Lubega described the political outfit led by General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, Chief of Defence Forces of the UPDF, as peaceful, not abusive or subversive.
The facts say otherwise. A simple scroll through General Muhoozi's X account shows execution threats, abduction threats, and abuse of power. That is the opposite of peace. It is subversion.
Apostle Grace Lubega is my spiritual father. He leads a ministry that gathers up to 20,000 Ugandan youth every week. Members of that same ministry have been abducted simply for holding the head of this political outfit accountable.
Religious leaders must start speaking truth to power, especially on politics. A church with that many people must realize that its words shape how its members interpret the politics of the day. You can raise sheep who never question power, abuse, bad leadership, or bad governance. Or you can raise people like Christ.
Christ stood up to bad leadership. He told the scribes and Pharisees "Woe unto you, hypocrites!" (Matthew 23:13) and called Herod "that fox" (Luke 13:32).
He demanded accountability. He told the temple traders they had made God's house "a den of thieves" (Mark 11:17), and when struck unjustly he asked, "If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil" (John 18:23).
He stood for the oppressed, sent "to preach deliverance to the captives... to set at liberty them that are bruised" (Luke 4:18).
He spoke against injustice, condemning those who neglected "judgment, mercy, and faith" (Matthew 23:23) and "devour widows' houses" (Mark 12:40).
Church, we cannot claim to follow Christ and stay silent while power abuses the people. Speak.

Well done, bro! You are such a talented artist, yet you carry yourself with immense humility. I wish you nothing but the very best in all your endeavours. Just know that we recognise and appreciate your great work, and we believe it’s only a matter of time before the world gives you the recognition you deserve. Keep pushing, bro. Your time is coming.

For 4 straight seasons of shooting sports 📸at @KisobaLeague, rights away from LDC, to Kitabi Seminary, to Karanoga Beach & now to Kakyeka. I believe we’re marking 4 or 5 years together. That’s something truly special & speaks volumes about the kind of people this league is made of.
It’s gone beyond work; it’s now family. I sincerely appreciate the hospitality, kindness, and continued support from this incredible community. The awards displayed in my ka house mean a lot & I will always give my best for the league.
Now, let’s all head to Kakyeka Stadium for the SN 5 Grand Finale this Saturday, 07/11/2026. Let’s network, celebrate, and have fun!

Papa, when I was told that you had attended that meeting, I told my colleagues that you were obeying powers and principalities, just as you have always taught us.
But when I listened to your submission, I was heartbroken.
The fact that it was another pastor who spoke about political prisoners, while you, my spiritual father who leads one of the largest youthful congregations said that “PLU is not known to be an abusive and subversive party,” broke my heart even more.
Papa, you know that the young people in your church are informed and intelligent. They have phones. They see the videos of abductions involving men in military uniforms acting under the authority of the very people you were praising.
Papa, you teach us to let God fight our battles. Yet at that same meeting, you raised the issue of Gashumba’s statements about our church before PLU leaders in a manner that sounded like you were asking them to take action against him.
Papa, you have hurt thousands of young people, including those who may never have the courage to write a post like this.
We forgive you. We will still come to church, sit in our usual seats, worship God and listen to your sermons.
But Papa, forgiveness does not mean we were not hurt. And remaining in church does not mean we agree with everything you said. @Phanerookampala
