I enjoy that it gets dark earlier
The pressure to always be doing something subsides. Relaxing in front of the fire feels cozy. Warm, hearty meals inside are satisfying. There is a charm to the cold mixed with the dark.
This “dark” period allows us to appreciate the spring and summer more

Why can’t Halloween always be on a Saturday? Let’s just make it the last Saturday of October every year. I can’t imagine any parent of a child who participates in trick or treating not supporting this change.
