This is great advice. Because we read so much output from AI (from Claude to ChatGPT to Muse to Grok Bots), I've definitely felt my brain fatigue quickly. Tell your AI of choice to "Explain everything in ASD-STE100" and feel the difference!
Andrej Karpathy makes a good point: as AI does more of the work, more of your job becomes reading what it produces. His first tip caught my eye. Ask the model to explain things in ASD-STE100. ASD-STE100 is a controlled English standard built for aircraft maintenance manuals. A mechanic anywhere in the world should read a step once and get it right. The core rules: 1. Keep sentences short 2. One action per step 3. Say who does what 4. Give each thing one name and stick to it AI output breaks that last rule all the time. It says "worker," then "agent," then "executor," and you can't tell if it means one component or three. The full spec is strict. Karpathy asks for "80% of the way," and that works for daily use. Someone turned it into an open-source skill: github.com/danyuchn/asd-ste1…

It was an honor to have @RobertCialdini on my podcast years ago and he's a wealth of knowledge (and a really nice guy!) This is a cool way to chat with him anytime about his influence principles and more. Give it a try!
Robert Cialdini (@RobertCialdini) has spent his career studying one question: why do people say yes? His answer became Influence, the book that's shaped how the world sells, negotiates, and persuades for 40 years. A psychology professor who turned decades of research into the principles now taught in business schools everywhere, his books have sold over 7 million copies. Advice from the world's leading expert on persuasion has always gone to boardrooms and Fortune 500 companies. Now it's available to anyone, whether you're closing a major deal or asking for a raise. Ask him here: delphi.ai/robert-cialdini

Time to get another shot from the espresso machine…
People who drank more coffee had less body fat, less visceral fat, and more lean mass than less-frequent or non-drinkers. The biggest benefit was seen at 5 or more cups per day. And for men, every extra cup per day was associated with a ~10 ng/dL higher total testosterone. Higher coffee intake was also associated with better glucose and insulin regulation in men. This was an observational study, but mechanistic and experimental evidence actually supports coffee's benefits on metabolic and hormonal health. I'm willing to believe there's a real link here rather than draw a conclusion such as "coffee drinkers live healthier lives in general."

This is WILD! I opened this app, found a jet in 5 seconds, looked out my window and spotted it in the sky, then looked at myself from the plane's view. @stowaway_live
THIS WEBSITE LETS YOU SIT IN THE WINDOW SEAT OF ANY PLANE FLYING OVER YOUR HOUSE RIGHT NOW. no download. no app. no account. you open the tab and you are in the sky. it's called Stowaway. stowaway.live. it finds your location. pulls every plane and satellite passing over you right now. click one. hit "Stow away" and you are in the window seat. real terrain. real weather. real light for this exact minute. the guy who made it, jheising, said on Hacker News he built it because as a kid he would watch planes cross the evening sky and try to imagine what the world looked like from up there. Stowaway is that, without the airport. 441 points on Hacker News. people are not bookmarking it. they are flying in it. just a website that lets a normal person see Earth from a stranger's window seat for a few minutes. we built the internet and somehow one of the best things on it right now is still: open tab. sit in a stranger's plane. watch the sunset from 35,000 feet.

This would create so much abundance in so many ways.
For my first post, I’m sharing a letter @NVIDIA signed on why open models matter. AI will transform every industry, power every company, and be built by every country. Open models strengthen safety and cybersecurity, accelerate innovation and diffusion, and enable sovereignty. The world needs both frontier closed models and frontier open models. images.nvidia.com/pdf/Open-W…

A fun way to chat with a few legends! Give it a try yourself 👇

@BrianTracy: speak slowly, pause often, and know your material cold. Energy beats perfection. @BrendonBurchard: warm up your body and breath, remember your three key points, and open with a clear promise. You're overestimating how well you understand where Software Engineering is heading. Everyone is. Even OpenAI and Anthropic are figuring it out by failing. Here's what I've learned crossing that transition at Delphi. Harness Engineering 101 👇

This brilliant lesson on communication by @rabois is why the AI leaders are failing. It’s not sufficient just to “speak your truth.” You have to communicate in a way that elucidates your audience. Convincing the public that your company is a menace obviously fails that test.

This looks very promising for kids using AI. Instead of kids giving away their thinking to AI, this is a different approach. AI is retraining how we think without us noticing… especially for kids. Koji looks like a totally different and guided kids to solutions while teaching, not just rushing to answers. I’ve been very worried to introduce my young kids to a lot of tech, especially AI. Working in tech, this feels a little odd. This might be a shift in how AI can help kids (and all of us) grow way smarter and become more capable with AI.
AI is making kids dumber. It should be making them geniuses. Introducing Koji, the first AI tutor that gets kids to actually think. 👇

Real talk. @mreflow said he doesn't really try to solve problems on his own anymore. AI is just always there. Why struggle? But is that momentum... or is that AI Cognitive Atrophy? 🧠 Are YOU feeling it? 👇
