May not have been Adam, but another person on the Farsley bench (was seven years ago - memory is unclear!).
I spent pretty much the whole game by the dugouts, so was actually stood right behind him.
Realised I actually saw Adam Lakeland in November 2019, while in charge at Farsley Celtic.
Obviously had great success there, but on this particular day lost 4-2 at home to nine man Boston, and I think had a shouting match/small scuffle with a Boston fan with a yellow mohawk.
I have purchased my EuroMillions ticket
Morecambe Football Club acknowledges the National League’s decision to place it under another player registration embargo and is working hard to have this resolved and removed as soon as possible.
#UTS 🦐
Spent a not unreasonable amount of time being confused and thinking we only had 10 players
(Excited to see Neill from the start!)
Hard fought against an improved Darlington side.
Could have been ahead earlier, but great effort from the subs to give us some fresh impetus when the game was drifting a bit. That’s why it’s a squad game!
They can’t all be comfy wins at home - glad to have battled through!
I’m not saying all the comparisons are entirely fair, but this is so Mourinho coded hahahaha
Yessss get in! Great to get over the away curse.
Lovely for O’Kane to get such an important goal after a rough few months with injury 🦐
Paul Lewis 👀
I want positive progress to be as quick as possible, but we can’t be having a meltdown at every bump in the road just because we’re a ‘big club’ for the level.
Wary of becoming like the teams we used to love mugging off back in the day…
I want to see the side build more under Lakeland (an extra body or two would be nice).
Turning a ship around after years of crap is a hard job, and instant bounce back I don’t think is that common. Teams that do well tend to be a few years in the making.
Sacking a manager often seen as some catch all solution, but I don’t think it is generally.
We’re also a far cry from under Johal when it was painfully obvious he was well out of his depth and did not have the players behind him at all - we were a really bad side.
I think shouts to get rid are daft.
Clearly a very capable manager for this level. And we’ve seen plenty of good stuff.
The problem away at weaker teams (on paper) needs dealing with obvs, but it’s a specific issue rather than us just being a bad side.
