$200m is fine I guess. But a Bloodbourne movie should cost $200 billion. Hundreds of thousands of live extras from northern England and Wales should be paid to actually die on screen. Actual eldritch entities should be summoned.
The budget for the ‘ELDEN RING’ movie is nearly $200M.
A24's most expensive movie ever.

I get stupidly happy about this stuff. WSI is an incredible achievement, dating back to a time when Albanese was a well regarded infrastructure czar and not an insane managerial sociopath.
There’s a guy on ABC weekend breakfast right now doing the “mostly peaceful riot” meme in real life while he talks about France.
I often think about how much different the world would be if instead of “gun” becoming the consensus nomenclature it was “schioppi” which was what the Italians, the primary manufacturer of early firearms called them. “Shot with a schioppi” sounds so fruity no one would do it.
Australia’s mainstream media is becoming a bad episode of late 90s The O’Reilly Factor with all Bill’s worst obsessions (not enough tinsel in schools, video games are too violent) and none of the good ones (arming children, calling George Clooney a communist)
I did Friday Forum on ABC Hobart this morning as the ABC Tasmania’s resident right winger, starts at 1 hour 7 mins, it’s like SOC, if I wasn’t allowed to vape:

$100 million to send the Australian of the Year into space is just a touch more than paying Albanese’s 59 staff for 6 years.

This still carried the death penalty in NSW within my life time. It was one of the more obscure crimes that wasn’t amended until 1985.
Four Middle Eastern men have been arrested in western Sydney after allegedly shooting sheep and stealing lambs from a farm in country NSW.

I happen to be fairly well initiated into this particular strain of schizo conspiracy. There is no actual occult or numerological basis for what these guys refer to. The origin for it is in the writings of James Shelby Downard, arguably the greatest writer of outsider literature who has ever lived, and the archetype for a kind of basement (or in Downard's case, air stream trailer) dwelling giga autist he might very well have been the first of, a tutelary spirit for all awoken chuds if you will.
Until the last 20 or so years Downard's writing was actually very hard to find and it only seeped into the fringes of conspiratorial literature via Michael Hoffman, whose essay "Alchemical Conspiracy and the Death of the West" was included in the first edition of Apocalypse Culture, one of the foundational works of late 1990s early 00s Paranoid Literature.
The "theory" around occult numerology, alchemical workings and assassinations is derived more from Hoffman's context and the abridged version of Downard's text "King Kill 33 - Masonic Symbolism in the Assassination of John F. Kennedy". Hoffman, and Adam Parfrey who edited Apocalypse Culture omit a lot of fine detail to produce an essay that is heavy on the various synchronicities but lite on Downardian metaphysics.
I happen to have one of the original ring bound copies of King Kill 33 that you could order from Downard prior to his death, as well as some of his more obscure writings. Hoffman and Downard have very different world views.
Hoffman was a holocaust denier (his first few books are about it) and an antisemite. Hoffman promulgates the theory of "revelatory methods", which is largely something that comes out of antisemitic conspiratorial literature. Hoffman believes, as Mr Saunders does apparently, nefarious forces plant these synchronicities in the ephemeral wake of their murders as part of their rituals.
Downard does not, and he's the source material, Hoffman just "translated" it. Downard, believed quiet literally, in magic. He believed that whether a secret society was responsible or not, these things were magical, alchemical in nature. That reality itself adjusts around profound events to create them.
People like Saunders who pick this stuff up and run with it remind me of island cargo cults, they really have no idea what these things do, or are for, they're just repeating them, recycling them.
Apocalypse Culture is out of print now I think you can read the original text here:
