What none of the Media are understanding is how involved Danielle Smith was behind the scenes in manipulating the petition and referendum process.
Prior to the November 2025 AGM Danielle Smith Would text Jeff Rath on a relatively regular basis.
On June 30, 2025 Smith sent a text to Jeff Rath by mistake that was obviously meant for Thomas Lukaszuk.
The text said
“Told you not to submit until the new rules came in. This has to be conducted under the old thresholds”
This text was sent AFTER Lukaszuk had submitted his petition under the old rules and Lukaszuk was already Lobbying to have his petition be permitted to meet the lower signature threshold under the new rules.
Rath responded to Smith by saying that Smith had obviously intended that text for Thomas Lukaszuk.
Smith, obviously flustered tried to lie her way out of it claiming :
“No I meant to send it to you. I told you and Mitch to wait until the new rules came in and it sounds like you did”
The problem with that explanation is that Smith never told Rath anything about waiting until the new rules came in. We were doing it in any event.
The obvious context of this text and the timing of it that Smith was colluding with Lukaszuk to rig the petition process and subsequent referendum against her base in favour of the Forever Canadians.
Of course if what Smith was saying about NOT accidentally sending a text meant for Lukaszuk to Rath (which is less likely) this gives support to what people were saying at the time about Smith being a secret separatist. (which looks even less likely)
The simple fact is that on either formulation - manipulative secret federalist or manipulative secret separatist, SMITH is unelectable.
Understanding who she is as a person, who in their right mind would ever vote for her ever again, on either side of this debate.

First up... there is no crystal ball. You don't know how the election will pan out.
Second, while I'm flattered the major argument is that David Robinson has the power to crash the entirety of the UCP- I don't think that fantasy exists in reality.
The UCP doesn't get to cast me aside and then harvest my vote at election time.
The problem with your approach is that you're blaming me for not voting for the party instead of the party for not supporting their electorate and voter base.
That's a way bigger problem.
Premier Smith hijacked a citizen initiated referendum, rife with questionable data to consolidate power in her party and the province.
I can’t help but think that her own device will be her demise.

My husband is being transferred to long term care soon. My stomach is in knots.
Raising kids, I always knew the day would come when the teenager would leave to fly on his/her own. But I never expected, after 50 years with my husband, that he would have to live on his own in such a vulnerable frail and dependent condition. Yet I am not strong enough to care for him myself. Heart wrenching.
It is one thing to trust God for a strong smart teenager to make it on their own, but it is quite another thing to trust God that He will help my disabled and cognitively challenged husband living on his own in a care home with strangers. I won’t be there all the time to translate his half sentences and gestures to the staff for what he wants.
This is a new test of faith both for me and for him. I feel like a mom taking her 5 year old to school for the first time and wondering how he will do.
Yet I believe that Art’s and my faith, plus supporting prayers from family and friends, will triumph in this very difficult situation, and God will get the glory. Worshipping God in the difficult times is that sacrifice of praise that pleases God, the sweet aroma of faith. That is the place of peace.

I wish to remind you of our meeting this past May 15, when you told me that you were a separatist and in favour of Alberta Independence.
You described to me a vision of Alberta’s future that I could easily buy into and support. It was very refreshing to hear, to say the least.
We also discussed and wholeheartedly agreed that good, godly government places power in the hands of the people, while evil government takes that power away.
Sadly, just one week later, Premier Smith removed our proposed referendum wording and replaced it with her own. This move took power away from the people and empowered her to delay and obscure the path toward Alberta independence.
With the referendum behind us, Premier Smith has made it clear that “the UCP is not an Independence party and I am encouraged to find another party.”
Is this how the UCP operates? Should a democratically elected party and its representatives not respect and act upon the wishes of the majority of their membership?
This reminds me of Jason Kenney’s comments when he appeared to be searching for a new political base. Rather than seeking a different base, should the party’s leadership not listen to the members who helped put it in office?
Moving forward, could you share your plans with us? I sincerely appreciate your vision for an independent Alberta and will wholeheartedly support it.
However, I am deeply concerned that Premier Smith’s current direction will leave Alberta increasingly subject to the globalists, who will squander our wealth on a woke agenda and advance a vision of Canada as the world’s first post-nation state.

Much work to be done, but today I'm meeting with leaders at the highest levels of the U.S. government. I've also spoken up for kids at the EU Parliament (twice), the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, and the UN in New York, and been featured (by critics) on the main stage at the World Economic Forum.
I've met with members of Congress, testified before the Florida State legislature, helped ban this in Oklahoma, and sat down with lawmakers in the Canadian Parliament and in legislatures from B.C. to Washington, California, Florida, Texas, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Scotland, England, Israel, and Australia. In Brussels I met elected representatives from a dozen more European countries.
I've also been to jail 3 times, been arrested 5 times in 4 countries, had more than 300 visits from police, but never been charged with anything. All arrests were either after I was assaulted, or because I simply refused to yield to an angry mob and police who insisted I leave.
The answer to "Will you relinquish your rights to satisfy this violent mob?" will always be NO.
I've been assaulted dozens of times, had my arm broken, been mobbed by hundreds, painted on, spat on, car keyed, tires destroyed, and even had a catalytic converter stolen in Oakland. Note to self: don't stay in a cheap hotel in Oakland.
Hundreds of houses in my neighborhood have received mail from Antifa, trying to destroy my reputation, but all that did was bring in more support. Normal people don't like when kids are being harmed.

Supporting @DanielleSmith is supporting the democide of vulnerable populations: Seniors, First Nations, the Disabled, the Immunocompromised etc.
Some people are ok with that.
I am not ok with Smith’s inaction to allow proper vaccine injury diagnostics and treatments. The expansion of the covid vaccine program is a clear signal that she fell in line with Agenda 2030.
