Thank you to the University of New Orleans and the coach for inviting to their prospect camp this past weekend. It was a great learning experience and opportunity.

Johnson Besong | Class of 2026
Don’t Follow The Wave (DTFW) | Westlake High School
Johnson Besong @johnnbe_ is a smart, versatile player who knows how to stretch the floor—whether it’s knocking down shots from beyond the arc or finishing strong at the rim. He understands his strengths and plays within them, always looking to set up his teammates with the assist before hunting his own shot. Defensively, he brings hustle and toughness—crashing the boards with intensity and diving for loose balls. Besong’s unselfish mindset and relentless effort make him a key contributor on both ends.

2026 6-4 W @johnnbe_ (DFTW/@WestlakeHoops) has nice upside. Impressive athlete. Shoots the three and can push in transition. Rebounds well and holds defensive versatility.

Shot the ball well on all three levels. Solid handle to score in transition and make spot up shots. Great size for position with a versatile skill set offensively. Looking forward to how it translates this school year.
