My debut World Cup… it hurts to wait 4 years to compete at the highest level our sport has to offer. I want to say sorry to our fans it was not good enough when it mattered most and we let you down
Soccer in America will only become bigger the belief, the talent, and the passion is continually growing and I know the best days are in front of us, the future belongs to those who never stop believing, this moment will fuel us. We will be back
Why not us?
For the nation. For the flag.

#USMNT striker Folarin Balogun on his immediate reaction to red card:
“I think it was just important to stay calm. I never want to react out of anger and out of emotion. There’s still lots of people we’re inspiring, little kids, boys and girls who are watching, and we have to show them the correct way to handle things, even when you think it's unjust.”
On shaking ref’s hand postgame:
“As said, you can feel like something, injustice can happen to you. It’s not an excuse to be disrespectful… I'm aware that the World Cup might be the first time a lot of American viewers are tuning in. So it's important just to show people, whether things happen to you, good or bad, just to continue to be yourself.”
Almost 8000 miles in to our ultimate road trip when we get to Seattle for the @USMNT game on Monday. Lots of @Visa swipes and stays @MarriottBonvoy along the way😄

Two teeth KO’d. Stays in the game. Makes the winning shot in OT for Team USA Hockey to win gold. 46 years. Hard to find these plus, plus make up athletes in sports today. Most fold when adversity strikes. #JackHughes is a warrior who has the “IT” factor. 🇺🇸

In yesterday’s AFCON final, Senegalese backup goalkeeper Yehvan Diouf got into an altercation with Moroccan ball boys who were trying to steal the starting goalkeeper’s towel 👀

37% of the rosters are international players but what’s the percentage of internationals actually playing in the games….75%?
All the players that were told they should no longer pursue the professional dream from their academy but want to continue playing end up here
The rules comply and American players get screwed out of the scholarship that they just spent the last 6-7 years paying for
The winkle the system didn't factor in
37 % will be 47% in the next 3-4 years

I’m beyond excited and grateful to announce my verbal commitment to play Division II soccer and continue my education at Pittsburg State University!
Huge thank you to my family and teammates for always supporting me and believing in me every step of the way.
Thank you to my club, Union Kansas City, and to my past and present coaches — Dan Brown, Tim Kloster, Jacob Harrington, Mark Sheldon, Nac Neuendorf, Johnny Chain and Alex Drambour — for teaching me the game I love and helping me grow as a player and person.
And a big thank you to Coach Wes Branstetter and the Pitt State staff for giving me this opportunity.
Couldn’t be more ready for this next chapter as a GORILLA! 🦍⚽️
